Washington (CNN)–President Barack Obama will announce Wednesday night that he's ordering the withdrawal of all 33,000 surge forces in Afghanistan by summer of 2012, a senior administration official told CNN.
33,000 withdrawn which will still leave 100,000 troops. Those 100,000 troops will be there for a while. The goal by this administration and the previous one is to surround Iran. We will have forward operating bases in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Expect a U.S. bombimg campaign in Syria and a ground invasion of Libya soon.

It will leave 67,000 troops not 100,000. Numbers matter.

I beg to differ. I believe the President has been doing right for our Country since he was elected. Its the GOP who's tried to destroy him since WE THE PEOPLE elected him. I tell you Almighty God has his hand on this man, for all the vile hatred that he has had to deal with since taking office. From the racist tea party, to the " we hope you fail" GOP. The rest of the world is laughing at us, we elect a president that the entire world embrace and what do some of our citizens do, try at every turn to discredit him, delegitimize him. I have never seen in my lifetime such disrespect for the president. I guess for some people his biracial heritage is just too much to bear. By the way don't try to tell me the tea party isn't racist, they claim they are for smaller government and fiscal responsibility and yet during the Bush/Chaney years they said nothing to 2 unpaid for wars, 9 times raising the debt ceiling, 2 unpaid for tax cuts for the top wealthy and cooperations (by the way how many jobs did this create?) and lets us not forget unpaid for medicare part D, not to mention all the deregulations. No sooner than a month after President Obama is sworn in the tea party is marching on washington, shouting "were takeing our contry back",(by the way what does that mean?) what's so sick is the current crop of GOP presidential candidates are proposing the same Bush/Chaney policies. America Wake Up.
