Democrats, not Republicans will fight for the American ideal of equal rights & equal protection under the law.

Republicans will twist & pervert the law to serve their own selfish interests. They are quick to call themselves the "Party-of-Lincoln". Well unfortunately, today, Lincoln would be a Liberal Democrat in their eyes. Today's orporate Republicans wouldn't have supported the elimination of free, slave labor – are you kidding me?

I don't really support gay marriage but I recognize that gays are entitled to equal protection under the law and therefore, if we can separate the God sanctioned act of marriage from the Governmental financial benefits given to married couples, the patriot in me has to accept the legitamacy of the argument.

Yes, yes, yes Hillary we know. Keep this baloney alive and in the media to try and firm up that liberal base for Obama. Not much left to do I guess when the approval ratings are dropping like a rock.

Ms. Clinton, we are anxiously awaiting your change in State Department policy to recognize interdependent partner immigration. Why not do it now & vault LBGT rights in the US into the 21st century, like most of the other industrialized countries of the world. Heck you've gotten the UN to go to a place that the good old USA has refused to go for decades. Surely if you can get the rest of the world to recognize GLBT equality, you can do more for LGBT US citizens.

Sorry this is total WASTE OF TIME. Who cares? Let the states or local government decide what they want to do on their own.
The gay/transgender activists need to stop being so militant and trying to force their special interest agenda upon us. They already are free to do whatever they want. This is just not really a serious agenda.
