(CNN) - Followers of politics have come to know Herman Cain, the Republican presidential candidate. Now they can get to know Herman Cain, the recording artist.
His album, "Sunday Morning," was recently released on the Internet, courtesy of Draft Cain, an independent group not affiliated with the campaign. According to Cain's campaign, the CD was originally released in 1996 by GLC Music, Selah Sound Production and Melodic Praise Records.
The 13-track gospel record was posted by Maurice Atkinson, the head of Draft Cain. It includes religious tracks like "Lord's Prayer," "I Must Tell Jesus," "Hallelujah Square" and "Precious Lord."
The former Godfather's Pizza CEO and radio host is no stranger to the stage and is sometimes heard singing on the campaign trail.
But his Communications Director Ellen Carmichael said the campaign had nothing to do with the album's release.
"Our campaign never had an intention of promoting the music, as it is unaffiliated with our efforts to elect him president," Carmichael said.
Another Palin – selling books, albums, etc., and will probably be on a speaking tour telling us how bad black people are before it's over.
Another $$$$$republican$$$$$.
Cain, Gingrich, Guilliani, Palin, Perry, etc., "Lord Let's Pray".
There's alot of "phony christians" in Georgia. Christians don't lie (Obama born in Kenya), don't steal (his company), or don't down trodden on another one of God's children. Mexicans. He needs God because he isn't God-like.
anything to get attention
Can we call this like it is please?
Mr. Cain signed a book deal 3 weeks ago. Now he is selling a CD.
He has single digit support in the polls. He can`t win, Staff is defecting. The only reason Mr. Cain is running is so that he can cash in on the attention and free publicity.
Cain is just like Partial-term Governor Palin. He`s in the business of Running for President, Inc.
That`s right ! I said it!
Did he sign the GOP pledge that said Black children were better off in Slavery, than under Obama? A time when Master would wake up and say " I think I'll kill me a Negro today", shoot em, hang em, hell I don't know. I am sure the children thought it couldn't get any better. Maybe, he could sing Go Down Moses, Let My People Go.
Look out Orrin, looks like you have more competition than your re-election bid.
Oh please!.............Someone tell Mr Bojangles to give it up!
