Maher picks Bachmann ... over Palin

(CNN) - When pressed to choose, Bill Maher said he would rather Michele Bachmann become president in 2012 than Sarah Palin.

The liberal comedian and political commentator said he would pick the Minnesota congresswoman because "She's not someone who just sits there and reads the prayers on her Blackberry like Sarah Palin."

"At least she's somebody who can read," Maher said Monday on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight." "You know she has a job. She was a lawyer. She's in Congress."

Bachmann is running for the Republican nomination in 2012, but Palin, the former Alaska governor and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee, has yet to decide if she'll make a bid for the White House.

Yes, kind of like having to chose between a root canal or getting a tooth pulled (in the front)! Both are on the dim side and yes, Palin is even worse.
