Palin's advice on debt ceiling: 'Reload with reality'

(CNN)-Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin had sharp words for both President Obama and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell late Wednesday as she criticized their handling of the looming debt ceiling deadline.

"It's absolutely nonsensical the lack of planning that our leaders are exercising and showing their constituents coming out of D.C. right now," she said.

The 2008 GOP nominee for vice president pulled no punches in an appearance on Fox News when it came to the actions of the president, whom she blamed for "big government job killing policies" and "fearmongering tactics" or McConnell, who proposed a short term plan she claimed "makes no sense."

"It does cede power to our president and takes away that authority that is inherent in Congress to control the economic decisions that have to be made when it comes to debt," Palin said of McConnell's short-term strategy to increase the debt ceiling in three increments.

"We cannot afford to back off and hand him a white flag saying, 'Here Mr. President we trust you you take over, you do it' because our president has failed in that area," she continued.

And though there's blame to go around, for Palin, the buck stops with Obama.

"Our president is essentially suggested the other day that he's not able to prioritize, as the chief executive of our nation he can't prioritize," she stated.

Palin, who said she'll decide on a bid for the 2012 GOP nomination for president by August or September, also gave advice to Republicans engaged in debt negotiations with the executive-in-chief.

"We cannot default but we cannot afford to retreat either, now is not the time to retreat. It's the time to reload and we reload with reality," she said.

What is this woman's job title?

    Where is she employed?

If she isn't in a postion of government anymore, she has no offical title in government, so, why is she relevant still? She made this circus out of her 'vacation' bus tour of the coutry, she brought along her Tribe O' Children attempting to show she actually has some time to Mother her kids, and yet, somehow people are still listening to her. And clearly she has figured out she would be toast even in a primary.

I just don't get it. It is comical to hear her attempt to proper english I will give ya that! You betcha ya'll! Winky, wink.

A person who quit her governor's job talking on the "evil empire" network, slandering the president. Gotta love the 1st amendment but credibility, anyone?

"It's the time to reload and we reload with reality" Apparently she's been running around with an empty clip for quite some time.

And all that crap from a person who left Vasilla in huge debt. Why do we have to still listen to her? Fact that this GOP cheerleader is being taken seriously, is a sign of intellectual bankruptcy of their party

Obama and the other Liberals will not be happy until we bankrupt the country. Raising the debt limit equates to continuing to maxing out a credit card and then getting another one to pay off the balance. All the time running up more debt on other cards. We can't afford to continue. It wasn't ok for Bush to raise the Debt limit and it's not ok for Obama to either. It is time to live within our means. My family has to do it and I am sure most of your families do as well. I feel both Democrats and Republicans are irresponsible on this point. It is a shame the country is even having to have this argument.

The media should give us a much-needed break and not cover $arah until August or September when she makes her decision known. But we all know she has made it already (not to run) but wants to keep herself in the news by saying she hasn't. Talk about a publicity hound – no, a publicity moose!! So, media please give us a break with no coverage of her!

You'd think she could learn to at least sound like she knows what she's talking about. It's possible that some day, just by dumb luck, she might actually be right about something. But no matter what she says, she sounds like a moron. Maybe some diction lessons would help.

As "nonsensical" as abandoning YOUR constituents halfway through your term as governor????

Surprisingly, her ability to aim her eyes independently of each other actually enhances her credibility as a potential world leader with expertise – or at least an opinion – in every possible subject.

    Run, Lou Sarah, Run!!

Palin will run because she'll say God told her to save the country. It's obvious that airhead Palin is desperately seeking relevance in a country where the majority of us would like to see her deported. She clearly is the most repulsive, grotesque bigot to seek high office since Spiro Agnew.

Sounds like Palin has reloaded her mouth. What she should have done is reloaded her brain before her mouth. They don't appear to be in sync. It is easy to criticize what you don't understand.

See what happens John McCain when you invite someone who did'nt belong on the political stage let alone the big stage. This is how monsters are created because Sarah obviously still thinks she is revelant in politics. And she can't even shed her campaign mode from the past because of her one track mind. if you listen to her and her only, the millions of people that voted for Obama are moroons. In her eyes this man is totally out to lunch but it only tells me he has something that she will never have intellegence. That just explains her whole make up and child like dialogue with a few. Some say her confidence is high I say it's low. Why else would you be the person behind the scene trying to prove to yourself that you can win. Win What Sarah?????

What Palin fails to realize is that this is a democracy and her little group only represents 20-25 % of the people. No way will they tell the other 75-80 % of us folks what to do.This woman is a talking head ding bat full of hot air.

Yes, we should all heed Palin's advice. She has such vast experience. After all, she ran Alaska, what, 18 months? That doesn't include her time as Wasilla's mayor where she left that town deep in debt when she was done. All hail to Queen Sarah, the maniacal egotist.

Gee, I don't know. By now, she should be an expert on nonsense, jibberish and inanity, gosh darn it. Unfortunately that's all she speaks. She and Bachmann should have their own TV show: Stupid and Stupider.
