Palin's advice on debt ceiling: 'Reload with reality'

(CNN)-Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin had sharp words for both President Obama and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell late Wednesday as she criticized their handling of the looming debt ceiling deadline.

"It's absolutely nonsensical the lack of planning that our leaders are exercising and showing their constituents coming out of D.C. right now," she said.

The 2008 GOP nominee for vice president pulled no punches in an appearance on Fox News when it came to the actions of the president, whom she blamed for "big government job killing policies" and "fearmongering tactics" or McConnell, who proposed a short term plan she claimed "makes no sense."

"It does cede power to our president and takes away that authority that is inherent in Congress to control the economic decisions that have to be made when it comes to debt," Palin said of McConnell's short-term strategy to increase the debt ceiling in three increments.

"We cannot afford to back off and hand him a white flag saying, 'Here Mr. President we trust you you take over, you do it' because our president has failed in that area," she continued.

And though there's blame to go around, for Palin, the buck stops with Obama.

"Our president is essentially suggested the other day that he's not able to prioritize, as the chief executive of our nation he can't prioritize," she stated.

Palin, who said she'll decide on a bid for the 2012 GOP nomination for president by August or September, also gave advice to Republicans engaged in debt negotiations with the executive-in-chief.

"We cannot default but we cannot afford to retreat either, now is not the time to retreat. It's the time to reload and we reload with reality," she said.

It's also nonsensical that a person gets elected governor by a state, resigns midway through her first term, then insists she is not a quitter. It's also nonsensical that a person flubs answers to simple questions such as "which newspapers do you read?" or "who was Paul Revere?", then insists she was ambushed by "gotcha" questions. And it's purely nonsensical that anyone would think a person who could not lead a state with a population the size of Nashville could lead a nation of 312 million with any effectiveness. go back to Alaska and shoot an elk from a helicopter. your star is fading so fast. there she goes.....

The gun metaphors are getting a little tired and this is a former governor (who quit halfway through her term) who really never worried about taxes. The population of Alaska is probably not as great as that of Washington, DC. She knows almost nothing about debt ceilings or the national debt and yet she can't control herself and must pipe up. I hope she does run for President. It would draw attention to the wide range of characters in the Republican primaries and, should she get the nomination, she could actually lead the way to a total defeat of Republican candidates for all other offices.

I love the big government job killing criticisms made by the right, of course when dems propose cuts to farm subsidies, oil and gas, and defense all of a sudden the big government is the job creator. How can anyone follow the nonsense coming from the right?

This woman is a genius and needs to run for President of the United States so she can show Americans that she has ALL the answers to which can save his country. I hope she wins so when the nation see that ANOTHER "C student" is in charge of the nation again we can all just be happy getting a job at Walmart and living in a box! What a piece of work!

Sarah Palin ..... Has anyone ever noticed that from the moment John 'Maverick my Ass' McCain introduced Palinitis(she is a minor infection) to the world, she has not once, never even come close to having an original idea. After 2+ years of listening to her defend yourself, she appears less likely to be a political candidate & much more likely to be the defendant in a murder by stupid case.
The following puts into perspective the BATTLE BETWEEN PALIN & OTHER GOP NAZI PARTY CANDIDATES:
Should a movie be made, the TITLE would be ..........

    "Romneystein versus the Wolfbitch"
"Bachzilla meets the Bride of Grizzly Adam's Grizzly"
The Paulfather Part 4 – "The pepperoni buyout of a political wannabore"
    "Newt Odyssey 2012 vs Sarah Wars-Episode 10"
"Sara & The Huntsman" – sequel to "The Death of Bambi by semi-automatic"
Paul Ron in "The Political Hustler" – co-starring Sarah Palin as the CUE CARD reader.
"Palin goes crazy in the Inner Santorum Sanitorium" – Say that fast 3 times Sarah!

"Palin's Pizza; thick crust, wackomole, extra cheesy, low IQ bacon & some mush puppies.

First of all, her comments don't really make any sense. More importantly, you'd think that Ms. Palin would have shelved her "reload" imagery given recent events.

"We cannot default but we cannot afford to retreat either, now is not the time to retreat."

So she doesn't want us to default which means she wants a compromise of some sort. But doesn't want to "retreat" which means she doesn't want Republicans to make any concessions on this in what why is that a negotiation?

You Sarah Palin lovers really need to get a grip on reality. This woman makes no sense at all and is nothing but comic relief for the rest of America. Just find you another country and make her president if you love her that much. Looks like she is your messiah. My 5 year old granddaughter has more since than this woman. She can't even get the nomination for vice-president at the rate she is going. She just couldn't keep her mouth shut. Now noone wants to deal with her. You need to tell her to refund all that money that you Palin lovers sent to her campaign, because she is not running. She does not have a snowball chance in hell to win. LMAO!!!!!!!

This blithering idiot does not make a lick of sense. She's expert at non-sensical, run-on sentences. And could she stop with the "reload" references. That gun-related word is not always appropriate.

I guess Sarah's advice for Obama would be to quit his job, join MSNBC as a commentator, and make lots of money off of sound bites.

As a democrat, I'm thrilled that she's still a realistic candidate for the republican presidential nominee.

So, here's a woman that barely finished college, after working at it for 6 years, and quitting several colleges before she found one that would pass her just to get her off campus. She was elected Governor because she duped Alaskans into confusing whining about what's wrong with the state with action plans to get things fixed. Once the heat was on, and people began to realize she was without substance, she quit. She has continually fired off insults, and at the same time become outraged when she herself is challenged on her lack of experience, substance, or, in fact, brains. In her latest round of silliness, she started a bus tour along the east coast, an when the crowds weren't as large as she liked, and she was heckled, she canceled the tour "Because [she] had to attend jury duty." She doesn't even realize how stupid this sounds to most Americans, and is yet another example of her not being able to follow through on ANYTHING, if it doesn't go exactly as she thinks it should. Now she's whining about the shenanigans in Washington, when the finances of Alaska while she was Governor were a disaster, full of misappropriations shady deals, and just waiting to blow up in her face, and her own finances were being scrutinized for "inconsistencies". She gets the prize for whining, but she isn't any more qualified to make a statement about politics or run for an office with any responsibility than any other entertainer. I'd vote for Justin Beiber or Britney Spears before I'd vote for this dolt. At least they can sing.

What's absolutely nonsensical is this sentence

It's absolutely nonsensical the lack of planning that our leaders are exercising and showing their constituents coming out of D.C. right now," she said.

It would be funny except that there are people who would actually vote for this dingbat. That's just sad.

Liberals are mad because their obama is losing all his confidence. Nothing is going his or their way, so all they have is to attack the ones who have the ways and means to get our country back in shape. It will be o k liberals, November 2012 will come and the Republican nominee will be elected our new president and all will good again. Balanced budgets , border security, affordable healthcare, respect by other nations, jobs, energy independence, and the list goes on. The United States will recover when a Republican is back in the White House. Relax liberals it will be just fine. 😉

All of you are idiots complaining why CNN is covering Sarah Palin and what not, if you can't stand her or what she says then dude DON'T CLICK ON THE LINK AND READ WHAT SHE HAS TO SAY". Regardless of what your hatred comments have to say you idiots are the morons who keep her flame burning. Remember views and hits drive news coverage so even if your no Sarah Palin fan the fact that you take time to rant and rave about how much you dislike her policies you are driving her coverage bone heads. Give it a rest if you don't care for her" MOVE ON ALREADY"! And actually get involded go to the polls and vote for your candidate of choice and let democracy do it's things.

Ps-I won't vote for her for president however I give her 110% props because she is the most successful failed VP in history, no other policitian has been able to do what she has done as far as making money and keeping her name in the headlines (regardless of what she goes on and on about) and all she has to do simple tweet or post a facebook comment and it's picked up by the media and heard around the world. Now that is power regardless of what you think. MOVE ON FOLKS
