Ms. Elizabeth Warren –
Thank you for your intellect, vision, courage in setting up this operation, I for 1 believe that you are the best candidate; you have the fortitude to challenge the status quo which is sorely missing in Democratic appointments.
I hope you run AND WIN the Massachusetts Senate seat occupied by Brown. The President owes you his full support for that as does the DNC. I will be watching them to make sure they do right by you.
Elizabeth Warren...run for the Senate...I don't live in your state but...you have my money, small amount that it is and my phone to call supporters with
The government has promised citizens protections from the abuses of business, for a long, long time, and they always fail to make it work!
I don,t care who is in the chair,"Just do your job,and protect Americans from Corporate Robbery, and stop the "criminals on Wallstreet! And bring to Justice the " Culprits" That Crashed America!!!!! Keep a "Check" on the Tea/Gop Movement!! You will find 80% of them "There".
Here's a good example of growing the government as a knee-jerk political reaction of the Obama Administration. It is going to take 2,500 federal workers and $1 billion a year to do things that other federal agencies already had responsibility for. This is just part of the spending problem that needs to be fixed. There are plenty more like this.
"The government has promised citizens protections from the abuses of business, for a long, long time, and they always fail to make it work!"
If you're wondering why that is, just look at what's happening now. Massive lobbying efforts by financial interests are underway to reduce or eliminate any sort of real power wielded by the consumer bureau. Their political prostitutes in the GOBP (with some Dems as well) are well-paid to throw up roadblocks. Keep watching and it all becomes clear.
What a covardly, stupid and bad for the people thing to do. Obama is losing it fast, every day.
This is so embarrassing and foolish.
Mr. Plouffe, are you listening? This, hopefully, is going to cost him 30-40% of the more intelligent independants.
Enough to cost him the whole thing.
He said, he would rather be a one term good president than a mediocre 2-term one.
None of those two seem to ever be happening now.
What a waste!
