NEW YORK (CNNMoney) - Billionaire CEO Steve Wynn used his company's earnings call to trash President Obama and his economic policies Monday - calling the administration a "wet blanket" on the business community.
"I'm saying it bluntly, that this administration is the greatest wet blanket to business, and progress and job creation in my lifetime," Wynn said in response to a question about Las Vegas real estate.

What a coinkidin! Iisn't Romney trolling around somewhere in Las Vegas trying to make $10million dollars magically appear in his coffers, and here comes Mr.- I'm- hiring- people- in- Macao- China- not- in- the- U.S- Wynn contributing his tax-deductible two-cents!
Ain't that special?!
Of Course he is going to trash Obama because he has stopped him from reaching his hands into peoples pockets and feeding at the government trough while cursing it. There was a time when wealthy people cared about this country and contributed to its well being. The latest cadre of the wealthy is reap off the people's coffers as much as possible and then balk when someone says something. GREED is the name of the game. Shame on YOU.
I like how CNN failed to mention that Steve Wynn is a life long democrat and supporter of Harry Reid.
Says the guy who is already a billionaire. Why do I never hear these things from people striving for greatness in business. Only these goofballs who already made it and don't want to pay a little extra in taxes do all the hollering like spoiled brats.
Go ask Google if they're not able to hire. $122 million in profits last quarter and you're whining? You and every other elite are making record profits, paying record low taxes and you're b*ching.
Carma is b**ch and will eventually catch up to you.
Unfortunate for Obama, his administration will be judged on it's results. He had every opportunity to fix the problems of high debt, high spending, a down economy and high unemployment when he took office in 2009. Instead he chose to sacrifice all of the above to gamble on the Grande Stimulus Experiment and ObamaCare. Look where we are now. The results are worse in every category.
Hopefully future Administrations will study how these decisions turned out and not repeat the same mistakes.
Yes, America needs more gambling jobs, no doubt about it.
Consider the source. This opinion is meaningless.
Mr. Wynn is right, Good for him standing up to our corrupt government, but I do have one question.... Why does Nevada keep electing Harry Reid ?
@edog, I am totally with you on what you wrote!!
All you Karl Marx nuthangers need a bug dose of reality, but that won't happen. These Big business fatcats are the ones who give people jobs, by making a product to fill a need, and hire people(you/me/we the people), to fulfill that need. If they don't buy that plane, the 100s of jobs are lost, from those that make the plane to those that service it. So if we take his money for that plane guess where it goes? To fund government fatcats, every officer above the rank of general has his own Gulfstream 5 to cart them around the Mideast, what's wrong with a military airplane instead of a luxury airliner?
Cut, cap, and balance doesn't say government can't grow, it is capped at a percent of GDP, which means for economics 101 challenged people that it
can grow as gross domestic product grows. So GI Joe this notion you have that government can't grow is wrong. It doesn't matter if your a Democrat or Republican, why wouldn't you want a balanced budget? Anyone care to ask why President Obama voted against an increase in the debt ceiling when he was a Senator, but now he's president it's a good thing???
Wynn, what's wrong - only a fewfolks showing up for high stakes gambling? That's what happens when your boys do their best to wipe out the middle class. Not enough consumers is the result of the trickle down that has left nothing but a wet spot on your persian rug.
