Daley: Debt negotiations in 'difficult phase'
Washington (CNN) - Negotiations with Congress on raising the debt ceiling are "getting into a difficult phase," White House Chief of Staff Bill Daley said Sunday.
In an interview on the NBC program "Meet the Press," Daley said the inability to reach an agreement was causing global markets to question if the U.S. political system can deal with problems of mounting federal deficits and debt, and the pending deadline to increase the debt ceiling or face government default.

Jackals would be the operative word for Cantor, Boehner, McConnell, the tea party, and republicans. Why aren't they explaining that this "tax Hike" is really getting huge corporations and others who get huge tax breaks because of their wealth pay their fair share of taxes so that the burden won't be totally on the middle class.
In layman's terms, Cantor, McConnell, and Boehnerr wants to take away grandma's medicare and the social security
benefits that Americans have paid into all of their WORKING lives just so that big businesses won't have to pay their fair share of taxes.
The republicans know they don't have a chance at beating Barack Obama in 2011(he's broken his own record at fundraising already) thus they figure they can destroy this country in the meantime, and blame the President. They don't
care about Americans. Woe on America if they are allowed to carry out thiis evil. Evil indeed, they are. The scary thing
is that they are able to convince a large portion of Americans that taking away their rights will be good for them. Wake up!
Republican doesn’t want to see tax rise

They like to see seniors become homeless; they like to see unhealthy and uneducated kids. They like to see our economy collapse; they like to see military family go bankrupt
Because they sign the pledge
The solution is simple. A "clean bill" on raising the debt ceiling.
The Congress has done so countless times before. These bills are ONE SENTENCE long and can be voted on in MINUTES.
The Republicans have manufactured this crisis.
This country is scheduled to SPEND $15-20 TRILLION more than it takes in over the next 10 years!!! Obama and the Democrats have created YEARLY deficits of almost $2 TRILLION. They simply refuse to cut spending in any meaningful way. At this point, it is clear they intend to bankrupt this country with their irresponsible financial management of this country's finances.
To date there have been ZERO Democrat plans to address ANY of this. NO BUDGETS, NO PLANS, NOTHING. All they have done is speak in none specifics that can't even be rated by the CBO. TOTAL DISHONESTY in my book. A TOTAL abregation of their sworn duties. ALL OF THESE DEMOCRATS NEED TO BE REMOVED FROM OFFICE. THEY ARE DANGEROUS.
in america they were talking about eurozone, they couldnt get unity ad save greece, but now see whats happening over there in your america, it makes us laugh and worry at the same time. Just politcal issues trying to get obama out of the white house over the backs of worldcitizins who will lose money and their jobs because this stupid nonsense fight goes too far. America is not a big power anymore, america doenst laugh about, europe, no, europe laughs about america! Maybe you should conider the political system as in Netherlands with multiple parties and multiple responsibility!
