House vote on GOP debt plan delayed

Washington (CNN) - House Republicans called off a vote Thursday on Speaker John Boehner's plan to raise the nation's debt ceiling while enacting sweeping cuts in government spending, but the possibility remained that the measure could come up on Friday.

The delay in voting on the proposal revealed a deep rift within the GOP that could undermine the party's latest attempt to avoid an unprecedented national default and stave off potential economic catastrophe.

What a wastage of precious time!!! Is this to show what weapon each side is holding! GOP with the high number in congress; Dems with number in senate; and the President with the big heavy stick of VETO. This is not what we, the citizens want. We want a complete compromise. I always blame where the disturbing water flow from and NOT where it goes. In this case, it is the GOP who will carry such a blame on their shoulders.

All the republicans are interested in is passing some assinine bill that the senate or the president must veto so that they can put the blame on the dems. It is, after all, an election year for ALL republicans in the HOUSE also. It's nothing more than a game to them.

What took 10 minutes 18 times for Raygun and 7 times for Shrub has turned into a propaganda stunt the can try to use to defeat the dems next year, thereby continuing the HELL NO CAUCUS until they strip Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid from the middle class and the working poor.

Vote NO to all republicans in 2012. They want Fascism (Corporatism) in this country, not a democracy.

Last time, with CC&B, they claimed bipartisan support because 5 Democrats voted in support of the bill. In typical Republican fashion, they neglected to mention that at least 7 within their own caucus did not vote for it.

Do not expect a repeat of anything close to those numbers. The hobbits have broken the fellowship.

Pass version 2 of Boehner's plan! Then the Republicans can hang the vote on the Democrats in the Senate and we can vote them out of office. In 2010 the Democratic lose was a slaughter; the 2012 election cycle is going to be a massacre. Obama, the Democrats in the house and the 23 Senators up for election in 2012 better understand their jobs are on the line, we are watching how they vote, they will be replaced. We are at depression levels of employment in America our government debt is at crisis levels.

These repugs are talking about big businesses are not hiring because of regulations, why the hell big businesses are making more money than any time in history. If regulations was so bad big businesses should be starving not the other way around. How long repugs expect to feed this crap to the gullible in America before they recognize that 1 plus 1 is not 3. Come on folks wake up. The president put dems necks on the chopping block to get these companies from out of the ditch for one purpose, to hire folks. First the problem was high taxes, the taxes are now the lowest in 60 years, now its regulations then this then that.
Now they are making more money more than any time in this nation history and the repugs are still coming up with excuses.

I don't like this Republican Plan ,Because I don't think the American People don't want to go though this again In five or six month from now. Any plan should have to go though the years of 2012 and may be To early 2013. the American people don't want to worry about rather a deal going to get done again In five or six month. You Republican need to Compromise and get a fair deal done and real soon. We are running out of time, are you republican out to destroy America. I know the Tea party Is because If you listen to Michele Bachmann the dept ceiling doesn't even need to be rise. Don't the Tea Party Believe anything they are told that don't come from the KOCH'S BROTHER.
