Bachmann: The president has no plan

Washington (CNN) -– Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann took to the House floor Saturday to slam President Barack Obama on his position in the ongoing debt stalemate.

“Throughout this debate over guaranteeing insane never before seen in the history of this country levels of spending, President Obama has coolly stood on the sidelines, his arms crossed, very simply castigating Republicans for not giving him a $2.4 trillion blank check,” Bachmann said.

Minnesota Rep. Bachmann chastised the president for what she said was a lack of a solid debt plan.

“The only plan that the president has put forward is his February budget which in itself contained yet one more $1.5 trillion deficit,” Bachmann said. “The president has no plan. Only the Republicans have offered plans.”

Bachmann’s comments came as the House was preparing to vote on a plan proposed by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, a Democrat.

More disconnect from reality from the crazy lady. The President has proposed several plans which include things the GOP was demanding, and they rejected them because they were HIS plans. The GOP is trying to destroy America and this nutjob is all for it.

She must be on her migraine meds – or better yet, can't cure crazy. This isn't about a blank check to spend. It's about covering the money already spent. Come back to earth Michelle or better yet, repay the $$ you've received in subsidies and medicaid. No compromise is all I'm hearing from them. Have never seen so much hate even when bush was in office.

Bachmann: The president has no plan
And 99% of what flows from her mouth – she does not understand
No matter what the president came up with, the HOUSE would reject
Because “one-term President” is what they want to project

I am tired of everyone saying the President is not “engaged”
And then when he is – they say get of the stage
Stop comparing THIS President from those from the PAST
He’s DIFFERENT; he’s knowledgeable; and far more surpass….......
(to the least – BACHMANN!!!!!!! Jeez!)

Bachmann must suffer every day from Migraine
She proves everyday that she has “no brains”
On top of that – LISTEN to her – she really seems “insane”
The more she runs around the country on her hilarious campaign!!

Andred Jackson's reasons for Closing Fed Bank

    1. It concentrated the nation's financial strength in a single institution.
    2. It exposed the government to control by foreign interests.
    3. It served mainly to make the rich richer.
    4. It exercised too much control over members of Congress.
    5. Banks are controlled by a few select families.
    6. Banks have a long history of instigating wars between nations, forcing them to borrow funding to pay for them.

    Sound familiar?

This woman only proves that SOME women are meant to be seen and not heard. When are the educated men and women going to politically run over these Republican assholes?

The President laid out his budget priorities in the State of the Union speech and subsequent addresses to the nation.

It's Congress' responsibility to propose a budget.

The one without is YOU, Bachmann – without integrity, honesty, and apparently, a brain (too many migraines have fried it).

All political candidates promise what they'll do when they take office. The present situation proves none of them can do anything without support/compromise from others. Ms Bachmann is no different. Although she won't win the republican primary, it would be fun to see how she would get things done without a consensus (which she will never get because of her devisive comments).

What's her plan? I think all she has is a plan not to help our President. That way they (GOP) can blame him for what they created over the last 11 years.

I am sure the Reid plan is his plan, her plan is not to raise the debt ceiling and let us default on our bills, sending the markets into free fall.

No plan that Michelle likes, that's a very different thing, Regan did the right thing in 82, Republicans should note that example and stop being so extreme

"Only Republicans offer plans" Bachmann's right about but she is ignoring the results of how many Americans including Republicans reject that plan. Furthermore, Bachmann said she would vote no to raise the debt ceiling and the Republican plan does raise the debt ceiling so what the H is she talking about., what planet is she living on because it sure ain't earth.

Wait a second, the President was trying to strike a $4 Trillion dollar deal with you Republicans and your party WALKED AWAY from the table because you didn't want to budge an inch on closing tax loopholes for big corporations. Then you wasted 3 days trying to pass a completely one-sided bill that you knew had no chance of passing in the Senate, but you did it anyways. Now default looks very real and the Republicans want to continue to blame the President? Unbelievable.

And the plan Bachmann favors which is cut cap and balance would send this country into a tailspin it would never get out of. What do you do with a balanced budget amendment when you have wars, if you have terrorist attacks, horrible weather that leaves people homeless. This idea that you must balance the budget all the time is nuts. What gets cut when unexpected things happen? Guess? Entitlement programs – even the ones that Michele Bachmann and her husband are so familiar with. Any average Joe American out there who supports this bill really doesn't understand it. It is most certainly not in the best interest of the overwhelming majority of Americans.

Dear Mrs. Bachmann, let me clue you in on something that I learned in the 3rd grade. The President can't sign any bill that hasn't been approved by both Houses! Guess third grade social studies is beyond your level of learnin'.

Why should the President have a plan? Did President Bush have a plan? No, but the debt ceiling was raised. Did President Clinton have a plan? No, but the debt ceiling was raised. Did President Reagan have a plan? No, but the debt ceiling was raised. Each time it was raised without question. Now all of a sudden the President should have a plan for paying the bills of Congress. Remember Congress is spending the money. President Obama does not have America's check book. It is Congress who controls the money. It is the Bachmanns, DeMints, Boehners and Cantors along with Democrats who have incurred these debts and now refuse to pay them. In essence we're telling China, the U.K. and Japan among others we're not going to pay them. Please stop fabricating stories and deceiving the American people. Bachmann has already said she wants President Obama to be a one term president. Mc Connell has made the failure of President Obama his hightest priority. Just by making those statements ruins their credibility. These characters are turning America into a circus side show.

On the contrary Minnesota Rep. Bachmann, when has the Tea Party presented a plan. All they seem to due is hold the nations economy hostage. On one hand they state that there should be a smaller federal governement, then on the other hand they say don't tax anywhere. How else will our federal government generate revenue to support the thousands of visible and invisible services they provide to hard-working, tax paying citizens. The Tea Party is a group of unseasoned and for lack of a better term- ROOKIES, that has no thorough understanding of the US Constitution and basic functions of the US government. Stop the politics and raise the debt ceiling. Debt ceiling has taken place in most every presidential term and has always been gradually raised in accordance to the economic heartbeat of the nation. Now we come to our 44th president and decide to make it an issued. The hypocracy is a slap in the face to the institution of democracy.

The Tea Party representatives should realize that they represent the people who voted for them, as well as the people who voted against them, even the people who didn't vote.
