Good grief, Obama and the Democrats have given away everything, including the kitchen sink. What more do the republicans want?

The right wing slime got their victory. That should be enough to satisfy them until they can see if they can get enough votes to steal the 2012 elections.

Limbaugh is a liberal
Pure politial theatre. He wouldn't contribute to the debate by actually coming up with ideas, and now that the deal is done he will posture so that he can say to his base 'see, I opposed it' even though his opposition at this point is completely meaningless.

Can we just arrest Mike Lee now? It's obvious he is guilty of treason and sedition.

I find it astounding that these politicians claim how hard they are working on the debt limits, yet they seem to spend all their time pursuing an agenda of self promotion on every TV show available.

What a joke. These people will go to the grave thinking they were right and the chorus of voices shouting at them are all just biased and wrong. They are truth denialists. If you disagree with them, you are wrong. Completely unfit to govern...

Trying to force this country into default simply treason. There is plenty of work to be done for sure, and fighting for priciples is certainly a good thing. But these facists tea party members are beyond the pale.

I hope Democrats vote against the debt deal! I'm angry that the President and Congressional leaders have the nerve to call this a compromise. The Republicans gave up nothing, and the President and Reid caved on everything that would have made us feel there was some shared sacrifice instead of only the the poor and middle income being hurt in this "deal". Maybe if this farce is voted down, the President will get some backbone and use the 14th Amendment to raise the debt ceiling; protecting those of us without the wealth to buy Congress. The rich should be ashamed to be willing to further impoverish the poor, and the elderly just to add a little more profit to their bottom line at our expense. I voted for the President, sent regular campaign contributions, held Obama parties, worked in the local campaign headquarter, and brought my whole family to the inauguration. Today, I'm very disappointed in the way he has turned his back on us.
