'Mourning' in America: What must be done about a depressed nation

Washington (CNN) - As the Broadway musical "Anything Goes" says, "It's always darkest just before they turn on the lights."

Recent polls confirm that the country is desperately looking for those lights amid continuing economic malaise. But positive signs are hard to find

So tired of all those placing the blame on President Obama. Either these folks haven't been paying attention since the election or they are just so brainwashed by Faux that they can no longer see reality. The Republicans and I may add, the Blue Dog Dems (DINOS) did everything to put a stop to Obama's efforts from Day 1. The Dems did not have a filibuster proof majority and the Repubs filibustered a record number of times. There are many bills that have been put forth and haven't been passed through the Senate which is very unfortunate. To say that this President hasn't done anything and isn't putting forth plans is just ridiculous. This is the man we needed to bring us into the 21st Century but unfortunately for all of us there are just to many uneducated, backward, gullible voters out there that fall for the scare tactics every time and vote against their best interest. We are doomed if the Repubs/Tea Party take over in 2012!!!! WWIII here we come!!!!!!!!!!
