Rove's Palin prediction

(CNN) - Karl Rove predicted Sunday that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is likely to run for president and will make her decision known soon.

Rove, the former top political adviser to President George W. Bush and co-founder of American Crossroads, a conservative political action committee, said Palin's upcoming trip to Iowa and recent web video are evidence she is gearing up for a run.

"I'm not much of a gambler, but I'd put a little more money that she gets in than if she doesn't," Rove told "Fox News Sunday."

If Palin, who was the vice presidential candidate on the 2008 Republican ticket, doesn't make a decision shortly, people will assume she is not running and withhold their support, Rove said.

"You can only tease so many times in the political process, and I think she is getting to the end of that," Rove said.

Palin has flirted with a White House bid for months, even launching a bus tour in early presidential contest states.

Most recently, she attended the Iowa State Fair on the same weekend as the high stakes Ames Straw Poll. The video her political action committee released Friday showcased her trip to the first-in-the-nation caucus state.

Palin returns to Iowa to address a tea party group on September 3rd.

Could we guess that the perry campaign is paying her millions to run, so that "Goodhair" isn't the stupidest candidate on the Republican side?

I hope I hope I hope! This bimbo quitter would make a good choice for the republicans to show the total ignorance of their party and the voters who might vote for her stupidity! Stupid is forever Sarah!

I don' t think she'll run. She is having too much fun playing celebrity. This way nobody is asking her any hard questions, like "what magazines and newspapers do you read". I'll miss the comedy of her interviews, though.

if you notice it appears that many Democrats want Palin to run as well. If I were her I would take that as a warning sign.

I don't think Sarah will run. She just likes the publicity and the income it generates. If she does run, it will be a contest between her and Bachmann to see who can bring the level of public discourse down to a lower level.

Why not? She found there was not enough money to pay her bills and therefore quit her job as Governor. She had a taste of just running for Vice President and see how much money she had collected! All her bills have been paid and she is minting millions in Fox! How lucrative it would be if she runs for the President! The millions and millions of PAC money, at least a part of which could be diverted and all the post election offers and sponsorships! Unbelievable! You can keep a dog away from bone, but not Sarah away from money!

Palin's run only will be a grab for money and fame. She's not even stupid enough to believe she can win. I'd like to believe the Republican Party still retains some percentage with maturity and reason. As a former Republican, I remember the days when Barry Goldwater represented the conservative model. I'd like to hear his views of this ridiculous bimbo – and of the others the Republicans have assembled as potential leaders of America. I will vote Democrat because the most radical elements of the GOP controls the Republican party.

"....evidence she is gearing up to run..." or evidence she is getting more FREE publicity from the SARAH-HUNGRY PRESS?

The way Palin operates, if she runs, she will wait until the Republican candidates drop like flies and then hop in when there is one Republican candidate left. How's that for excellent planning?

One has to wonder why Karl "Adolph Eichmann" Rove wants Palin to run. He has something up his sleeve. He is hoping to seriously hurt and/or humiliate someone.

    Perhaps Palin.

Whether she runs or not rove, did you tell her that the "educational" records of her six colleges for that one silly degree will become public? Does she know her medical records will come to light? Does she know that she will not be able to hide behind the faux news bozos and she will have to answer the hard and tough questions? Does she know that unless her next daughter in line becomes pregnant (I would bet on it) she can't use that card again? What is she going to do with the child we have not seen for months for whatever reason that they are keeping him hidden? And finally, because this is the only thing this whore is interested in . . . . . . she will have to give up her only source of money and quit faux news. Back to the double wide in wasilla because she is NEVER going to be elected anything!

Sarah, your daughter told us you were actually very smart and could be a great president. Please run, to prove your daughter is right.

Gee thanks Karl Rove for predicting that she will likely run for President. Generally a prediction becomes interesting when you say that something WILL occur rather than it might occur.

Now how about this as a dream team? Palin – O'Donnell 2012 (no she's not a witch).

I wonder what makes Rove thinks that Palin is going to run for the presidency? I don't see it because she could make a lot more money and have a lot more influence if she doesn't run. She doesn't seem to have improved any in terms of her policy understanding or what she knows about foreign policy either.

Nothing like a good presidential run to keep yourself in the public eye and keep cashing in on the book deals and speeches.

Why would Palin run for president and give up the boatload of money she gets from the Koch brothers to annoy the world? She's like a stray dog, goes where she is fed with attention...and she has the mange.

So, Palin, Bachman, Romney, Huntsman, Perry, and Paul walk into a bar and sit down at the bar.
The bartender walks up and says, "This has got to be some kind of joke!"
