Libya: Is Gadhafi's loss Obama's gain?
Washington (CNN) - Roughly six months after President Barack Obama called on Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi to step down from power, it appears change has come to Tripoli. Four decades of iron-fisted rule are coming to an end.
So does this make you more or less likely to vote for Obama next year?

As Randi Rhodes said ... when NATO calls countries listen ... President Obama has accomplished 82% of his Agenda in less than 2 years. I'm proud to have voted for him in 08 and I'll be proud to cast my vote for him again =)

In the real world, yes- this makes a difference and shows the President's prowess at foreign relations. In the GOP/TP world of oblique fantasy- not so much.
Look- for 40 years America wanted rid of this guy- he killed Americans and supported terrorism. Which President saw him taken out? Whok too out bib Laden? Clearly Obama and his team is way better at this stuff than Republicans. But then again, Obama wants good stuff for America- the Republicans- its way harder to tell with their track record. They seem to operate against the good of the countery more than for it.
No. Obama gains nothing. Quite the contrary......America has lost, somewhere in the neighborhood of hundreds of billions, because Obama conducted 76% of the so-callled, "NATO" actions.
Never mind, that every cent of that expense was BORROWED from CHINA!

His foreign policy has been very strong and succesful that's because GOP can't interfere with it. Should his domestic policies not have GOP interference, America whould be very strong and succesful also

President Obama is steady and focused in his approach. As Elephant in the Room correctly pointed out, NO ONE in the current GOTeatard lineup could've aligned and secured the allegiance of all the countries involved in the NATO strike. They lack the common sense, dignity, and intelligence that Obama needed to recoup the trust and respect of the world at large that we lost during the The Shrubs' Reign of Dumbness and Terror.
I will vote for the ex-United States Senator and community organizer, Magna Cum Laude Harvard graduate and assist in his fight to save the America that I willingly pledged allegiance to so many years ago.

2 classmates of mine from college were killed in the Lockerbie Bombing. Right now, my nephew is getting ready to re-deploy to Afghanistan to cleanup the mess that was started by the GOP's incompetant prosecution of the war there. As far as a disdain for our Constitution, he accomplished regime change without the loss of a SINGLE American life. Just because you can't stomach the fact he accomplished this without any loss of American life and with a minimum of American expenditures over a period of 7 months is no excse to rant about a supposed violation of the Constitution. The families of my friends can rest easier , now they know the murderer of their children is on his way out. Obama approaches things methodically, without a lot of fanfare, but he gets the job done. Now please sit down and find something lese to plot and complain about. BTW, the 1 Billion you complain about is roughly equal to what BP and others made in a week off of the increased oil prices, so why are you upset? Your corporate masters are the only losers.

HELL NO. First place Obama did not take immediate actions to do anything to help the revolting of Libyians. He did say for Gadaffi to step down, but that was all. It was not until four months later with the urgency call from the Frrench and the English that our Air Superiority was needed. Then Obama without a phone call to his Secretary Of State or anyone else while on vacation ordered air strikes. An impeachable offense. but they let him get away with it. i am not saying we needied to do the air strikes. he could've ordered them as soon as he did. but protocol which this man knows nothing about according to our CONSTITUTION was for him to start conghressional approval. they were to be notified of his intentions. he did nothing. So now is not the time to start giving him alcolades like he was responsible for something. He helped but the ones who carried thwe load was Great Britian and the French plus most tremendous of alol the people of Libyia who wanted liberty. This sanke we have in the White House came on TV earliar today trying to grab all the creditl. he is an embarrassment to the U.S. with our allies. GHe acutally was responsible for nothing. When all this came up and NAO approved of the action was the time for him to have acted with Congresses approval. but OH no like usual he took the back door in. Now he is trying to reap the glory because it is nearing voting time. Don't be fooled people he is still the ignorant hoe handle we have in the White House. LET'S SHOW HIM OUR APPRECIATION COME 2012. This could have been over many months ago and many lives would have been saved if it wasn't for Obama's inability to lead. Just like Afghanistan. The indecisiveness has been tragic. That has gone on way too long. But then again, Obama was not elected based on his ability to lead or make decisions. Or his grasp of basic economics. He was elected based on political prowess and that's what we got. No thanks. We can do better.
