(TIME) - 0 minutes. Presidential debates come and go. But tonight’s GOP debate, the fourth in a series too numerous to bear, is a special treat. “We are all gathered under the wings of Air Force One,” says NBC’s Brian Williams, referring to the great phallus of American presidential might that sits in the hangar at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. No setting could be more appropriate. The camera soaks it in all 153-feet of Reagan’s retired plane.

Ocho stinko? Eight candidates who would have made Herbert Hoover proud to have them as running mates. Take America back to 1928.
At first the debate was humorous, with Mittens and Perry defending their own ineptness, but then it got ugly. Not one of the candidates had a clue how to fix anything, but did point out that things are not still perfect. They did agree that 50 million uninsured should not have health care, and that if you are an immigrant, you don't belong here.
I don't believe the GOP will cooperate with President Obama on any thing except leaving office. I think he needs to use the speech that Rosevelt used in a speech to congress years ago, and get on doing what ever he wants to do. The GOP don't respect him, and want him out so forget bipartisinship. He should get to work and work for the middle class, who are in need of jobs. If it takes a tariff on companies who keep jobs overseas so that they can use cheap labor, and increase profiits, than do it.
I don't understand why the social issues (DADT, DOMA, women's rights, etc.) were omitted from last night's republican comedy roast.
Didn't watch it. It gave me a perfect excuse to go out on a date with the number one. Just don't tell her I taped it. Morning highlight reels are interesting. Perry has mad cowboy disease, and Romeny has foot in mouth disease. I guess the rest of the bunch didn't matter to the MSM.
Nothing happened before during or after Williams little "moment" about AF1.
They all look like robots dressed in blue with a splash of red, white and yellow. I love the guys/gal who know they have no chance standing there like they are enjoying the limelight because that is really all that is left for them.
Who expected the debate to be on the Dems network, only on cable and not on regular media? MSNBC? Good grief, that's like debating in the Lion's Den. That channel is totally, Dem, and not one bit rational.
The moderators did not conduct the debate in a fair way. They made sure Perry and Romney got their lion's share and ignored the rest. That was not good at all. Even throwing the first questions to these two contenders and gave all the time they needed to go after each other, showed where their interest were based on.
Isn`t it kind of arrogant for Reagan`s library/ masoleum to have a 707 hanging from the ceiling? Isn`t that trying JUST A LITTLE TOO HARD? [by his loyalists] to elevate him into the annals of history?
Does Clinton have plane in his library? How about Eisenhower? Nixon? Daddy Bush? Will baby Bush want a tank or a/c carrier in his?
