Rep. Giffords may appear on news program for first time since shooting

(CNN) - Eight months after being shot in the head outside an Arizona supermarket, Rep. Gabrielle Giffords is considering doing her first post-tragedy TV news interview this fall on ABC, her spokesman said Monday.

The program is scheduled to air November 14, the network said in a news release. That will be a day before the anticipated release of the couple's joint memoir, co-written by Wall Street Journal columnist Jeffrey Zaslow and titled "Gabby: A Story of Courage and Hope."

I'm sure the book is a must read. That being said, it reminds me of why I hate and despise Sarah Palin so much. She incites hatred and an uncivil discourse.

I have to wonder if Sawyer will ask Gabby how she feels about the Republican Party in her district raffling off a model of the gun used to shoot her as a fund raiser?

    Republicans are such creeps!

@rs...ok they raffled off the same type of gun used in the shooting.so what? Should police stop carrying glocks because of this incident? Let's not be ridiculous...crazy people do things like this, not guns.
