Jindal to endorse Perry

Tampa, Florida (CNN) – Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal is backing Rick Perry for president, a major endorsement for the Texas governor as the campaign for the Republican nomination enters the crucial fall stretch of the primary calendar, a source tells CNN.

Jindal is on his way to Florida and will be Perry's guest at Monday night's "Tea Party Republican Debate" broadcast on CNN from Tampa, the source said. Jindal is expected to formally make the announcement prior to the debate.

On Monday, Sept. 12th, CNN will broadcast the "Tea Party Republican Debate," live from Tampa, Florida at 8 p.m. ET. Follow all the issues and campaign news leading up to the debate on CNNPolitics.com and @cnnpolitics on Twitter.

Jindal released a statement Monday saying, “Rick Perry is the candidate who can lead our party to victory in 2012."

“His record on job creation simply cannot be beat, and the one million jobs he’s helped create as governor is a stark contrast to the 2.4 million jobs lost on President Obama’s watch."

Earlier in the day, Tim Pawlenty endorsed his one-time rival, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, for the GOP nomination. Pawlenty, a former Minnesota governor who dropped out of the race last month, will be Romney's guest at the debate.

An interview with Jindal will air exclusively Monday evening on CNN's "John King, USA."

Just what we need....a Bush clone in the White House.
This should solve all of our problems.

This guy is like dangling shiney objects in front of the braindead conservative filth in this country.
He's just Trump with cowboy boots.

It seems the (R)s have finally chosen their top two dogs. I guess we can expect a new endorsement everyday now until one of them finishes the other off. This party will certainly be the collaspe of America as we once knew it.

Why hasn't Piyush "Bobby" Jindal produced his long form birth certificate for review by true Americans? Why has he spent millions trying to hide it? Why is he forcing the residents of Louisiana to live under Hindu law? What is he hiding?

How did Perry ever get elected to anything? Did the voters never see him, hear him or talk to him in person? Go ahead and make him your candidate, and you will be utterly destroyed. The government is for the people in the middle, the idea being to keep extremism out of people's lives and government policy. Imposing your religion and beliefs on everyone else is the definition of tyranny, not a fitting trait for the supposed "leader of the free world".

Does Jindal also believe that we should make FEMA and the Federal Government inconsequential in the lives of the citizens of his state? Will he feel that way after the next big hurricane?

I've just lost any respect I might have had for Jindal. He's supporting swagger over brains. Party discipline over practical solutions. Gridlock city, here to stay.

Well, you just found out everything you'll ever need to know about Bobby Jindal's judgment. The Govenor of Louisiana endorses the likes of someone who believes creationism is valid enough to teach in our schools and Social Security is nothing but a Ponzi scheme. Jindal may be likeable enough in interviews but I hope the American people remember what an opportunistic, intellectually disingenuous coward he is should he ever decide to run for President of the United States.

Pyush aka "Bobby" Jindal, thoroughly embarrassed about his own heritage, now wants to hang with the "big mouth and wide strut" guys from Texas. Best bet is that Jindal knows he's so much smarter if not any less unethical that the bubbas that he could be angling for a Dick Cheney type vp bid where he really gets to run the show since Jindal can at least figure out where all those other pesky countries are located. Then again, Rick "the Hair" Perry might just have Pyush washing the White House windows should the country go into a full blown psychotic episode and elect Perry.

Lets hope Piyush 'Bobby' Jindal expends as much energy in governing LA as he does licking up to other state officials.
He's the abstention governor and our state of LA is in dire straits. He has proven to be a less than stellar leader-but the sheeple will continue to vote him in. Sad for LA.

Progressives want to drown america in their immoral, unethical, atheistic cesspool. They use the word 'science' as if science agrees with their ideology (most are not scientist). Have they ask the pertinent questions or are they just parroting the mantra, talking points of their political masters. They speak of education or the lack there of- history will tell you that education in america was championed not by progressives but by religious conservatives- how's that for fact. Progressives you are being brainwashed even hypnotized by the progressive talking heads. Wake up to freedom.
