(CNN) - Heralding what he called a new international diplomacy model for the 21st century, President Barack Obama spent Tuesday at the United Nations in meetings with key foreign leaders to continue pushing foreign policy objectives in the Middle East and North Africa.
His schedule included one-on-one talks with the chairman of Libya's National Transitional Council, Mustafa Abdul Jalil, and Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai, as well as Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff.
