Washington (CNN) - A federal judge has again temporarily blocked enforcement of key parts of a tough immigration law in Alabama.
The ruling Wednesday is a partial victory for both sides. The Justice Department had brought suit against state officials. Alabama was given the power to enforce other controversial sections of the law.

Has anyone notice that Hispanics used to vote Republican because they once believed the "job creators" argument. Now that Hispanic vote has turned decisively Demoratic, Republicans are doing all within their power and then some to suppress the Hispanic vote and stereotype them as all being here illegally.

But she allowed this
“Including requiring the state to check immigration status of students in public schools, that the judge allowed to go into effect for the time being.”
