If you are a republican candidate, reality bites. Each 'debate' has become a contest to see who could out lie the others. Thanks CNN for putting a little truth out there.

My question is for the truth squad, If the truth about these issues are known by the networks, prior to the debates, and these people continue to repeat the same lies, why are they not challenged on the facts ?

If you think it's bad now, put one of these corporatists (fascists) in the White House. Germany 1939 all over again.

The truth? What partisan debate offers
the real facts? These folks are trying to get elected. And as one former German politician once said .....If you're going to lie make it a big one and be sure you tell it often. Soon it will be accepted as the truth!

Romney isn't speaking for the vast majority of Americans when he says that they want to cut back on the scale of government. That is the Republican ideological view that he is cleverly trying to impose on the public. The polling data shows that most people want a measured approach to dealing with the deficit; and a mixture of spending cuts and revenue increases on the wealthiest Americans to help fund programs , such as Medicare, Medicaid ,etc., which makes a lot of sense. Also, he said that all levels of the gov't spending ( local, state, and federal) have grown from J.F.K.s era until now, from 27% to 37%.Well, a differential of 10% of growth in 50 years time isn't bad, but actually good. All of this matters because it's a window into how he thinks, and would possibly govern; and this , coupled with his answer that he would have bailed Wall St. out, and not the auto industry, which would have put many more skilled , factory workers across several industries out of jobs, tells you where his concern is( This is classic Romney. He took over companies, and put many people out of work , in the process).

One man's truth is another's falsehood.

To offer truth, first CNN has to stop showing gross bias, in favor of the Democratic Party. Since they choose to continue to show gross bias in favor of Democrats, any "truth" they might espouse, has to be looked at, as probably a one sided truth, that isn't genuine, and therefore of questionable value.

Allowing candidates to sit down comfortably does not produce fireworks from them. What I have learnt from previous debates, I reckoned it was because they were standing up and to attack each other was evident. Last night am afraid to say, it was like they were issued almost a bed to relax. I did notice any attack thus making the debate a bit boring or didn't give a chance for listeners to learn much more about candidates!

Thanks for the fact check CNN, that was revealing, Bachman lied 2x, Perry mislead 2x, and Romney told the truth 2x and for the most part was the most accurate.
