Appeals court blocks parts of Alabama immigration law

(CNN) - A federal appeals court has blocked enforcement of parts of a controversial immigration enforcement law in Alabama.

The injunction issued Friday from the 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals in Atlanta came after the U.S. Justice Department - supported by a coalition of immigrant rights groups - requested the legislation, known as HB 56, be put on hold until the larger constitutional questions can be addressed, a process that could take some months at least.

Why do the pro illegal natural assume all Hispanics support illegal immigration?

there is a difference between Illegal and Legal immigration.  All sides of the immigration debate need to recognize that distinction in order to hold productive debate.

  5. Democrat Class Warfare - Destroying the economy, destroying the country

The progressive/socialist/Democrats simply do not want ANY of the immiigration laws enforced in this country. They want anybody to be able to invade this country at will. In doing so, they put the security of this country at risk. Every day illegals that they refuse to deport are taking American jobs, consuming massive amounts of government services costing BILLIONS and some are criminals injuring and killing American citizens. The Obama Administration has REFUSED to proect this country and its citizens while continuously attacking states that try to protect THEIR citizens.

The Democrats MUST GO in 2012 if this is to ever change, This country MUST get control of its borders back.

Demo class warfare- More illegals have been forced to leave under Obama in his term than in Bush's 8 years. Fox does not tell you the truth. Bottom line, there needs to be a path to citizenship, or all teabaggers will have to leave the country, unless they are native Americans.

But, it was Republican politicians who made it all possible. They saw the cheap labor as a mechanism by which they could undermine some labor unions; like SEIU for example, by privatizing public hospitals.

More of the Obama administration, walking all over the citizens of this country, standing in the way, of taking action to get illegal immigration under control.

Obama has and is, doing more harm to America, with his awful policies, and his insufferable refusal to compromise on legislation, than any President in recent history. He is even worse than Jimmy Carter.......which is saying a whole lot!!!!

They didn't mind "importing illegals" to pick their cotton (darned rednecks anyway - they are foreign to the rest of the country – except Mississippi).

Once again the courts interfere with laws the states enact. Illegal immigrant have no rights in America, illegal immigrant are breaking existing state and federal laws, find them, prosecute them, depot them.
