BLITZER’S BLOG: Cain’s 9-9-9 plan vs. Perry’s 20-20-0 plan

(CNN) – It’s clear that Texas Governor Rick Perry needs to jump-start his presidential campaign.

The new CBS/New York Times poll has him coming in fifth nationally among Republican voters. Herman Cain is at 25%; Mitt Romney 21%; Newt Gingrich 10%; Ron Paul 8%; and Perry at only 6%.

999 = 666 and 20-20-0 is the ultimate give away to the ultra rich and a take away from those who can least afford it.
The 700 Club, Robertson warned that the GOP base is pushing their party’s presidential nominees to take such extreme positions that they will be unelectable. Robertson wants them to lie about who they really are.

Rick Perry's current strategies are so bad that even Michelle Bachmann is saying "What the hell are you thinking brother"?

Why is it that Santorum gets no air time with his 0-0-0 plan, and everyone ignores Bachmann's plan that you keep everything and pay nothing?

You Know I wish the american people would wake up and stop supporting any of these so called congressmen, it is time we the people took our country back, we need to send a strong message to everyone running for reelection that states we do not like you anymore cause you are doing nothing and this may convince the new people they are getting elected to do a job not to go to the hill and fight like a bunch of school kids over lunch.

  10. The Greedy Old PIgs have declared class war on US!

This shows how terrified the ultrarich are about the millionaire tax and OWS. This flat tax manure is a smokescreen for the ultrarich to continue to redistribute America's wealth upwards. Since the old methods are being challenged, this will be their GOBP deathcult's new mechanism to serve their wealthy overlords.

Could somebody please ask Perry: if his plan frees Americans from tax loopholes, then why could Warren Buffett still choose to use the existing tax plan and only have to pay 17% on $63 million dollars of income?

You will find the bigger piggies stirring up the dirt always have clean shirts to play around in
In their styes with all their backing they don't care what goes on around
In theiir eyes there's something lacking
What they need is a damn good wacking.....

What about the "Buffet Rule"? Both plans widen the difference between effective rates paid by a bus driver and a hedge fund manager. If both plans had been effect for the current fiscal year, we would be looking at a $2T annual deficit. Not good.

Make absolutely no mistake, any flat tax proposal is a nightmare for ordinary Americans and a windfall for the wealthy. Cain's proposal will give the wealthy a 1.3 million dollar tax break while 80% of Americans will see their taxes go up dramatically. You must know your "effective tax rate" to compare the two. Most middle class Americans have effective rates of below 10% which means all flat tax proposals would dramatically increase their taxes. Just wait til you see what Perry's 20% would do to us.
Also, the flat tax proposals eliminate taxes on capital gains and dividends for the most part. Though silent now, that has long been a wish of cons. To eliminate those taxes would then make many of the super wealthy pay no taxes at all as most or all of their income is from capital gains and dividends. Another major screw job for middle class America.

How about we just move everybody back to the tax rates under Clinton. The rich and the middle class and poor will be paying the same amouth, and the rich will be pay 39%. Oh yeah during the Clinton years, we had these rates and brought 21 millions job to America. Trickle down eonomic doesn't work, but people do work. President Barack Hussien Obama you dont' have anything to worry about., You Pilot is free for landing, right back to the White House where you belong.
