
(CNN) - In the latest effort to sell his jobs proposals and gin up support in key battleground regions, President Barack Obama will sit down with ten local news reporters on Tuesday while his staff provides them with special access to the White House grounds, senior advisers and cabinet secretaries.
The White House is billing the event as "Live from the White House," and is providing space on the South Lawn for the local reporters to anchor their broadcasts Tuesday night. In addition to a quick interview with President Obama, the reporters will speak with several cabinet secretaries and a White House staffer from their hometown markets.

CNN: Report: Cain accused of inappropriate behavior in 1990s
The campaign of presidential candidate Herman Cain has criticized a news report alleging that Cain displayed inappropriate behavior to two female employees in the 1990s, saying the news media has started "to launch unsubstantiated personal attacks on Cain."
