Will alleged sexual antics or cover-up sink Cain?
Washington (CNN) - What did Herman Cain know, and when did he know it?
Over the past couple of days, the former pizza CEO's high-flying insurgent campaign has been thrown on the defensive by the revelation of sexual harassment allegations made against him in the 1990s. Cain's account of the incident has changed multiple times, leading to accusations of a half-baked cover-up.

Rove did the same thing to John McCain in 2000, as he is doing to Herb. Some day, the right wingnuts will wake up, and realize Karl is in this for Karl, and not for America.
To answer the headline's question: knowing Cain's brand of Republicans? I doubt it.
The coverup Cain tried to pull off has become his undoing. If the man cannot be honest about something in his past, how can we be confident of his integreity and honesty in the future. We can only judge Mr. Cain by his actions. His promises are meaningless because he has told several untruths on the subject. It was amusing to watch Mr. Cain go from knowing absolutely nothing to admitting there was a payout (which got bigger today) to providing details about what supposedly provoked the initial allegations. Incredible.
If he had any dignity left, he would just simply fold and go home, which is too bad for Democrats. No doubt that the Obama Camp would rather run against Cain or Perry than Romney.
Cover-up of what? What crime has he specifically been accused of? Have you even read the Politico article? They have nothing. You're either ignorant of the law, modern business practices in personal disputes, and human decency, or have wilfully chosen to act as though you are.
I really cannot imagine any democratic organization would have wanted Herb out of the race. His improper use of campaign funds will hurt him more than this. How did a right wing media like 'politico' get the information? Certainly not from any democratic sources. Its a typical republican inside job.

Much like Perry, Bachmann and the rest of the laughable GOP field; the fact that Cain has nothing substantial or intelligent to offer should sink his chances of becoming President.

CNN is making this more than what it is........making a mountain out of a molehill. Imagine if he had done what Kennedy and Clinton had done while they were in the WH, CNN and the democrats would want to lynch him. People who live in glass houses should not throw stones. I wonder what skeletons Obama has in his closets that we do not know about. I imagine we will hear about them after he is ousted out of office in 2012 and then we will have everybody writing books on what they know about him. Can't wait to see what will come out after 2012 when he is gone.
If anyone needed evidence that the Cain campaign is making it up as they go, take a look at his answers over the past couple of days. It's going from "who? what? where? to an eventual "oh yeah, them, well, they were asking for it."
