Cain gets testy with reporters

Alexandria, Virginia (CNN) - All of the questions may be getting to Herman Cain.

The GOP presidential candidate was a bit touchy Wednesday when questioned by reporters about claims he sexually harassed two women in the late 1990's during his time as head of the National Restaurant Association.

"Don't even bother asking me all of these questions," Cain said to reporters.

Then the conservative businessman raised his voice.

"Excuse me," Cain yelled. "What part of no do you not understand," he asked.

The incident occurred inside a Northern Virginia hotel where Cain met with a group of conservative physicians.

Cain's security staff then pushed their way through a scrum of reporters and photographers to escort the candidate into a conference room where he made a statement to the doctors.

Reporters attempted to ask Cain whether he would call on the National Restaurant Association to release the two women from non-disclosure agreements that they reportedly signed in order to receive settlement payments from the lobbying group.

A lawyer representing one of the women told CNN he plans to ask the National Restaurant Association for a release from those agreements, citing Cain's comments as a potential violation of the conditions of those settlements.

Cain's Chief of Staff, Mark Block indicated talks to release the women from their non-disclosure agreements may be underway.

Holding a phone up to his ear, Block said to CNN: "This may be the call now."

"Should be an interesting 48 hours," he added.

The story on the harassment complaints and settlements were first reported by POLITICO.

Cain has denied he sexually harassed the women.

"Don't even bother to ask me these questions" - Kiss my Tukis (sp). Since he is all over Fox with 10 different stories some of which actually bash the women directly, I say this confidentiality agreement is null and void and LET'S HEAR FROM THE WOMEN. I want to know the story now. Amazing he knew about this story 10 days ago and didn't prepare better for it? Should give all folks pause to wonder how he will really deal with Israel, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Saudi's, China, South American countries, the EU, the UN?? He has all the potential to create an image of the US as a true 3-ring circus.

Maybe "touchy" and " testy" should be avoided when describing this story.

Anyone who thinks Cain, Palin, or Trump would be a great President has to ask themselves this one question:

Did I vote for W twice?

That answer will explain all of your frustrations with the current candidates this election cycle!

if he gets testy just because a few reporter ask him some questions, i can imagine him as president, if a nation tend to go the opposite of what he plans to do, he'll press that RED BUTTON... and we don't have to worry about job employement.. his short tempers worry me alot, especially if he has all that power in the palm of his hands.

Herman Cain remained defiant against his critics Wednesday, armed with what he said is the voice of the American people and new national poll numbers
I think that Cain's tinfoil hat is on too tight.
He's starting to believe his own self-created hype.

Cain: the "people" (all 100 of them) spoke before your turds started hitting the fan.
There is a big ole hand poised over the toilet lever. You'll be swirling towards the Mississippi any moment now

Mr. Cain is still acting more like he's running for Chairman-In-Chief, instead of Commander-In-Chief. Cain unknowingly reveals more and more character flaws every day. The black walnut flaw of the week, dishonesty Everybody knows the most common way to change the course of a conversation is to put on a display of bluster.

The way he's handling these reporters, he just looks guilty and is acting like he has something to hide. His story has changed at least 3 times since the story broke. I think the accusser should be allowed to state her side of the story.

Kind of tired of the media and both (sorry ... 2 1/2) parties turning the election into a soap opera. Can we please focus on the issues facing our great nation and stop with the smoke screens already? I get it ... they're all dirty little scoundrels ... let's move on.

Wait until Cain is sworn in as president and the GOP has the Senate and the House; new rules of conduct for the lame street media; the investigations, prosecutions and jail time for the lame street media / reporters for their lies and slander. 364 days until the Obama and the Obama administration ends.
