Cain gets testy with reporters

Alexandria, Virginia (CNN) - All of the questions may be getting to Herman Cain.

The GOP presidential candidate was a bit touchy Wednesday when questioned by reporters about claims he sexually harassed two women in the late 1990's during his time as head of the National Restaurant Association.

"Don't even bother asking me all of these questions," Cain said to reporters.

Then the conservative businessman raised his voice.

"Excuse me," Cain yelled. "What part of no do you not understand," he asked.

The incident occurred inside a Northern Virginia hotel where Cain met with a group of conservative physicians.

Cain's security staff then pushed their way through a scrum of reporters and photographers to escort the candidate into a conference room where he made a statement to the doctors.

Reporters attempted to ask Cain whether he would call on the National Restaurant Association to release the two women from non-disclosure agreements that they reportedly signed in order to receive settlement payments from the lobbying group.

A lawyer representing one of the women told CNN he plans to ask the National Restaurant Association for a release from those agreements, citing Cain's comments as a potential violation of the conditions of those settlements.

Cain's Chief of Staff, Mark Block indicated talks to release the women from their non-disclosure agreements may be underway.

Holding a phone up to his ear, Block said to CNN: "This may be the call now."

"Should be an interesting 48 hours," he added.

The story on the harassment complaints and settlements were first reported by POLITICO.

Cain has denied he sexually harassed the women.

Have any of you liberal parasites been paying attention to what is going on in Greece? The social welfare state (Greece) has borrowed too much and can't pay it back. Too may people receiving government benefits and not enough people are working to pay for it. Now the debacle in Greece threatens to take out the entire Eurozone financial system.
    Think it can't happen here?

I think Herman Cain is just practicing for his future job at Fox News. Isn't that where all the failed Republican presidential candidates go?

And this guy wants to be the President of a Democratic Republic? Sounds like the makings of a two bit dictator to me-just up the Republican's alley....

    What a Joke!

I think that the right should look at this in a "glass half full" perspective-at least unlike so many other "family value" republican politicians we are talking about harassing women. this is a huge step forward!

And well he should. Have they found out who planted this story yet? As far as I am concerned, the woman that took the "settlement" has no credibility. She took a settlement instead of standing up for herself. Very suspect, in my opinion.

Sometimes a republican candidate will have to talk to reporters that aren't on Fox "News".
Running for president isn't for the weak of character.

So Cain doesnt want to answer questions from the press? Neither does Perry but he knows he has to do it in order to run with the big dogs. If theres one thing this country cant stand is a coward as its leader. Whether its a Pres that let Bin Laden go at Bora Bora or if its a former CEO of Godfathers Pizza. Cain said he would refuse to to answer any questions by the press about the Middle East. Because he referred to the Middle East as "Becky Becky Stan Stan" its obvious he doesnt know anything about the region and therefore cant speak intelligently about it. Even mush-mouthed Dubya knew he had to learn the names of the Middle eastern countries and its leaders. Cain is a boob and the Dems dont want to discredit him from being the GOP frontrunner, because hes so beatable.

PA_outofwork, getting ready to implement your Fianl Solution, I see. Too bad it will never happen. Don't worry, Cain will get to flog his version of " Mein Kampf" and simpletons ( that's you) will buy up the copies after they've been put on the bargain shelf. In meantime, watch Cain immolate.

    Well, well... Mr PA_outofwork:
"Wait until Cain is sworn in as president and the GOP has the Senate and the House; new rules of conduct .. investigations, prosecutions and jail time for the lame street media for their lies and slander. "

Out of Mind, you sound right kindly like a wannaBe fascist. Your uncle was JoeMcCarthy? No wonder you're out of work. All those nice nazi hate phrases, the threats, the "we'll do away with you people" comments. Sounds like the commies under Stalin. And you're all gonna be behind Herman? Great, let him lead the exodus into the No-man's-Land of history. And you right behind him. Joy.

This is NOT complicated. If the woman just speaks, her liability is probably capped at the $35K she was paid 12 years ago. I t.v station will make millions interviewing her. Why doesn't some T.V. station simply agree ti indemnify her (ie., cover all costs and attorneys' fees) if any claim is brought against her for talking about the issue?

Did anyone take this man for being anything more than a sideshow? On top of that, how many of his supporters (and you know who you are) were all over Obama not three years ago for having no experience? Yes, Barak Obama might have had only a couple of years in the senate, but at least his experience went beyond running a business (as successful as it might have been).

    The end is nigh!

Cain was never very far from a meltdown... he hates it when a deal falls apart. He was going to make SO MUCH MONEY out of this campaign scam. Even more than the pizza scam.
