Cain gets testy with reporters

Alexandria, Virginia (CNN) - All of the questions may be getting to Herman Cain.

The GOP presidential candidate was a bit touchy Wednesday when questioned by reporters about claims he sexually harassed two women in the late 1990's during his time as head of the National Restaurant Association.

"Don't even bother asking me all of these questions," Cain said to reporters.

Then the conservative businessman raised his voice.

"Excuse me," Cain yelled. "What part of no do you not understand," he asked.

The incident occurred inside a Northern Virginia hotel where Cain met with a group of conservative physicians.

Cain's security staff then pushed their way through a scrum of reporters and photographers to escort the candidate into a conference room where he made a statement to the doctors.

Reporters attempted to ask Cain whether he would call on the National Restaurant Association to release the two women from non-disclosure agreements that they reportedly signed in order to receive settlement payments from the lobbying group.

A lawyer representing one of the women told CNN he plans to ask the National Restaurant Association for a release from those agreements, citing Cain's comments as a potential violation of the conditions of those settlements.

Cain's Chief of Staff, Mark Block indicated talks to release the women from their non-disclosure agreements may be underway.

Holding a phone up to his ear, Block said to CNN: "This may be the call now."

"Should be an interesting 48 hours," he added.

The story on the harassment complaints and settlements were first reported by POLITICO.

Cain has denied he sexually harassed the women.

I don't know what the whole story is yet because all the facts are not out – I hope the women who made the complaints are allowed to speak. However I am really not impressed with Cain's composure. If this is how easily he gets rattled (considering he says there is nothing to the allegations) then I don't think he has the nerve to be in charge of that special button.

Oh my. These questions pale in comparison to the million daily pressures of the Oval Office – and the man has all the composure of a petulant kid. GOP – seriously?

The Democrats of today sure make Wallace, Al Gore Sr., and Robert Byrd proud. The party's whole tradition is racism, hate, and lies.

"A Republican consultant in Oklahoma who has conducted polling for a Super PAC supporting Rick Perry claims that he personally witnessed Herman Cain harass one of his accusers. And — from what he saw at least — the case is no joke. "

    Yep..."liberal media conspiracy" alright.

Hey "InRealityHere"- what did Obama do exactly to threaten our national security? Oh yeah, followed through on his campaign promises that the majority of this country elected him to accomplish (get Bin Laden, troops out of Iraq, improve our nation's image in the world, and let's just throw in Gadhaffi for good measure). You know Republicans can't touch him on national security, but it's great to see how you guys act when backed into a corner and freak out when once again, one of your candidates-of-the-week self-implodes.

Of course, liberals have taken notice? Haven't you noticed what has really occured with the "P.I.G.S." of the European Union? The "P.I.G.S." have some of the lowest base corporate tax rates in Europe, as well as some of the fewest corporate and businsess regulations in the industrialized world. Greece is just the first to go.
the typical leftist response. The problem is ALWAYS that there are too few government regulations and that the government is not taxing enough so that everybody can retire at the ripe old age of FIFTY!!! I guess Rudy's answer is 99% tax rates, 40 million laws and regulations and a retirement age of 25. The left is truly showing itslef for the fools we all knew they were.

You are supporting someone who thinks that you are a lazy good for nothing. Did you know that? Cain says if you are out of work it's your own damn fault. How's that cognitive dissonace thing working? What has the GOP proposed that will help you find work? How does the GOP feel about the unemployment benefits you are probably getting? Good luck with those tax cuts creating a job for you.

Good one *.....PA out of work is too ignorant to understand what is party stands for. He is soooooo confused.

    1. Conservative Politico broke the story. Now that it is out and he's changing his story every time he speaks, it requires some straight answers – doesn't matter what party you're in or what news outlet you are listening to;

    2. What I find truly disgusting is the media ignoring the illegal campaign funding issue that has been all but forgotten because of this "scandal". The media is totally at fault here. Last night on BNN one of a panel discussing Cain's harassment scandal brought up the campaign funding issue and another on the panel actually shut him right down by saying, no, I want to stay on this topic and they continued to discuss the scandal for the balance of the show. The media no longer reports the news; they just put on the most ridiculous candidates/stories to get ratings and nothing else. They know their audience well – mindless sheep 90% of them.

So you think you can just loudmouth your way through this one, do you Cain. And you thought that skining, grinning, M C Cain act was the closer, didn't you H. N. Herb? Can this be made any sweeter for us and painful for you? YES WE CAN!

The real nugget here is that he was meeting with "Conservative surgeons", "We are going to use the science of medicine to cure you even though God says science is just a theory. We will also prey your gay away for an extra $20,000.00! If you don't have insurance we can't help you, you socialist leech!"

The media is like a pack of hyenas thirsting for dinner. I can't tell you yet who I'll vote for, but if Herman Cain had taken a ball bat to all you blood thirsty news people blocking his way, he'd get my vote. So what if he got a little testy? Maybe he should get a little more testy with all of you, I'll even loan him a ball bat.

Poor handling of the situation by Mr Cain. Who enjoyed the loosey-goosey video of Perry? So entertaining, but nuts.

God forbid the black guy not be a Democrat, Cain shows how little it takes for Democrats to go put their white hoods back on again.

Get a clue...before you start calling people names, check your facts. It's your party who is doing all this expose on him. We are not ready for him yet...if ever...that depends on if he makes it to the nomination.

Don't worry Cain according to "Democrat Party – leftist "progressive" socialist communist losers hellbent on destroying the USA" who belongs to the party of family values they are behind you even when you do not display those family values. As long as you remain conservative they will turn the other cheek while you attempt to cheat on your wife.

I realize a lot of conservatives on here get the majority of their news from Fox. They believe that everything else is part of the “lamestream media” (Yeah, calling your opponents names is original) and Fox is the only truly unbiased station devoted to facts and provides fair and balanced coverage. A lot of conservatives wonder why people have issues with Fox and a lot of independents and liberals wonder why Fox is allowed to remain on the air. I have the answer for both groups. For the liberals and independents, this merely confirms your thoughts, but for you conservatives, if you have any integrity at all, then google “Akre vs. Fox News”. You’ll find your answer. Then you can make up your own mind.

For those that would like a preview, here you go…“In February 2003, a Florida Court of Appeals unanimously agreed with an assertion by FOX News that there is no rule against distorting or falsifying the news in the United States…”
