Oklahoma pollster confirms he witnessed incident involving Cain

Washington (CNN) - Oklahoma Republican political consultant Chris Wilson confirmed to CNN that he witnessed Herman Cain demonstrate inappropriate conduct toward a female employee while he led the National Restaurant Association. Wilson first made this charge Wednesday in an interview with KTOK, an Oklahoma radio station.

In that interview, Wilson-who is doing polling for a political action committee supporting Texas Governor Rick Perry's campaign but is independent of it–described an incident with Cain and a female employee.

Protesters equate greed with Romney

New York (CNN) - Political activists from MoveOnPolitical.org and other liberal organizations gathered Wednesday in New York to protest against GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney and corporate greed.

Romney held a private breakfast fundraiser at the Grand Hyatt hotel while two dozen protesters stood outside chanting and holding mock campaign signs that read "Greed is Good! Romney-Gekko 2012," referring to the infamous Wall Street movie and fictional character Gordon Gekko, played by actor Michael Douglas. The signs showed a photo of Romney as CEO of Bain Capital.

Cain shows inconsistencies in foreign policy understanding

Washington (CNN) - The foreign policy discussion with the GOP presidential candidates is beginning to gain prominence as the candidates lay out their vision for U.S. engagement with the world, and with debates devoted to the topic on the schedule in the next few weeks.

Based on what they're saying so far, some of the candidates may need to do a little more studying on the big issues from overseas. Take Herman Cain, for example. He's a frontrunner in the polls, but has been showing inconsistencies in his understanding of one of the biggest foreign policy challenges facing the United States: China.

Biden and Cantor to break bread

Washington (CNN) - Vice President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, are hosting House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) and his wife, Diana, for dinner tonight.

It may seem like an unusual double date. Cantor has often been a thorn in the White House's side, pulling out of "the Biden talks" on deficit reduction in June to leave negotiations on raising the debt ceiling to President Obama and House Speaker John Boehner. Those negotiations ultimately failed to reach a "grand bargain" to reduce the deficit by several trillion dollars over ten years.
