
(CNN)- During an interview on "CNN's American Morning"Texas Gov. Rick Perry said he made a "mistake" when he failed to remember the Department of Energy while listing government agencies he'd choose to cut in Wednesday's debate.

Thank God, Perry will be stepping in it back in Texas when he quits the race. He is dumber than a Bachmann.
We do our best to keep folks like Rick Perry here in Texas where he won't be noticed too much, but sometimes even the dumbest bulls will stray out of the pasture. About all we can do is round 'em up and bring 'em back to the ole A&M pasture.
This won't hurt Perry. The nomination is not his to lose.
