Top Obama Middle East adviser Dennis Ross stepping down
Washington (CNN) - Dennis Ross, one of the president's top advisers dealing with Middle East policy, announced Thursday he's stepping down from his post, leaving prospects for the administration's efforts to restart the peace process even more uncertain.
He cited a promise he made to his wife to serve in the Obama administration for only two years.

Our President Barack Hussein Obama takes his job quite seriously. Only he and his predecessor truly knew how close we came to crashing. He has been working indefatigably since taking office to keep our country afloat, and move it, kicking and screaming FORWARD.
Do not begrudge him the new wrinkles, and gray hairs, he's earned them through hard-work, dedication, and plenty of unpatriotic obstruction from those that put us unrepentantly at the brink of disaster.
