Third reason Pelosi can't debate Perry slips her mind

Washington (CNN) - House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi declined Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry's debate invitation and poked a little fun at the Texas governor while she was at it.

"He did ask if I could debate here in Washington on Monday," Pelosi said, responding to a question about Perry's invitation. "It is my understanding that such a letter has come in. Monday I'm going to be in Portland in the morning and I'm going to be visiting some of our labs in the afternoon, that's two, I can't remember what the third thing is I'm going to be doing."

Pelosi was ribbing Perry for his recent debate gaffe when he couldn't recall the third government agency he would shut down if elected president during an awkward 54 seconds of air time.

Gov. Perry responded through his personal and campaign twitter accounts saying, "Something @NancyPelosi would like to forget: passing a 2k-page gov takeover of healthcare without reading it. American ppl haven't forgotten."

According the newspaper The Hill, Perry sent a letter to Pelosi saying, "I am in Washington Monday and would love to engage you in a public debate about my Overhaul Washington plan versus the congressional status quo. I think it would be a tremendous service to the American people to see a public airing of these differences," he continued. "Let the people decide. If Monday doesn't work, perhaps we could find a time in Iowa over the course of the next month to discuss these issues in front of the people of America's heartland."

Gov. Perry's Overhaul Washington plan includes cutting Congress to a part-time body.

I had no idea Pelosi had a sense of humor-but that was straight-up funny. Rock on, Nance.

Perry should be a baseball umpire. I can see the game now – first batter up - Strike 1 -- Strike 2 -– Uh uh uh uh uh uh -what do I say now?

It's Hail Mary time for Perry. He needs to do something BIG to get back in the game. Why not double down? He can't look much more stupid and ill-prepared than he already has shown himself to be.

I didn't know Pelosi had a sense of humor. Our previous president makes all of these GOP candidates look like Einstein – and we all know how smart he was. Cain doesn't know anything about Libya even though its been in the news for the last 8 months. Paul has some radical ideas like pulling the plug on the sick if they have no health insurance. Perry is from another planet, and can't remember what he will do if elected. The Newt is a total liar who no one will believe, and Bachman is a total idiot. All of them are mean spirited, uncaring and vindictive. In 2012 I think I will stick with who we have now. At least he has a logical and clear thinking brain and CARES about the common man and not the ones in their ivory towers on Wall St.

We could save even more moeny then just a part time Congress ... a part time President, part time military, part time mail service, part time schools, part time Coast Guard; and then get rid of EPA, Dept of Ed, Medicare, Social Security; and then start deleting State government.

I really have no love for Perry, but Pelosi is just a miserable human being.

Ist reason she cannot debate is she is taking botox in that ugly mug, the second reason she will be buying Visa stocks in advance to make $100,000 profit, the third is she is from californification and will be busy droping the soap with ellen dengernate.

Did you guys see the SNL skit on the Perry Oops moment?

After the Perry stumbed his way into his Oops moment. The Mitt Romney character interrupts and says,

" I want to be the next president of the United States, but not like this. "

LOL. He feels bad for poor Perry.

Perry must be completely off his rocker. He's supposed to be running for President and he wants to debate a FORMER Speaker of the House about what a poor job the Republican Congress is doing, not the current Speaker of the House? If anyone manages to get inside this guy's head, please turn out the lights when you leave because nobody's home.

Some of you are sooooo frightened of a strong woman actually trying to do something for the country. I bet you are in some cases the same people who want to destroy Planned Parenthood and block access to birth control. Can't have those women getting uppity.

The 3rd thing Nancy will be doing is more inside trading. Just can't get enough of the free cash that all other Americans would end up in jail if they tried this.
