Remember, all these clowns wanted to impeach Obama over his Libya strategy. Really a pleasant change to have a intelligent man in the White House that has the courage to do the right thing, yet the restraint to minimize the cost in American lives ( zero is a great number) and dollars.
One candidate stands alone. The only statesman.
If Mr Romney is willing to call for the inditement of the president of Iran for crimes against Humanity, is he also willing to do the same to the President and Prime Minister of Turkey for the slaugter of 2000 Cypriot men, wommen and children in the occupied territory of Northern Cyprus?
Defense cuts are necessary because we spend more on our defense system than any other country in the world. We cannot continue on this path
Can Mr. Blitzer or CNN please ask those candidates in favor of a pre-emptive strike on Iran, would they be willing to raise taxes on the American people to pay for the war that would most likely follow? Or are they comfortable further increasing our national debt? Thanks.
Why can't America focus on it's self and it's citizens. Millions of money are been spent on unnecessary things whiles Americans still live in poverty. Why is America so tied to Israel. If Israel decides to go to war with Iran, what has America got to do with that? I think America should focus on helping it's unemployed and stop pumping their nose into where it doesn't belong to. I am done.
There are loads of places to cut, even in the area of defense. They're cutting in the wrong places. Saying no to cutting a single dollar of defense is ridiculous. And you can make much more than that if you cut out the pointless wars and cut the foreign aid. Why we're borrowing money and going further into debt to give that money to countries like Pakistan, I'll never know. You can make loads of cuts without sacrificing our national security in the slightest.
People don't trust you Huntsman because unfortunately the mishandling of our processes by Congress makes us think your party is more important than American people.
Senator Santorium, Africa is a continent, Not a country!
I say Huntsman / Romney or vise verse!
To all candidates- What military experience do you have that would make you the best choice to lead our armed forces?
Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, John Hunt, WOW these guys are all great! Smart and visionary, I even like Mrs. Backmann.
Anyone who supports any type of "profiling", or The Patriot Act, is a threat to American freedom and liberty. Beware of these people!
BD
Question for all candidates
Should foreign companies be encouraged to invest in R&D and manufacturing facilities in the United States? What are the advantages and dangers?
Newt what is every nation in the world believe your plans are a little pushy with all this war talk and threats of starting wars and started to put sanctions on America? What would you do?
Do you happen to notice that all these canadates all except huntsman are talking about starting another war and continuing the ones going on now. this is what republicans are about. do away with abortions where the children can grow up to where we can kill them in war.any one that can or does vote for any of these idiots need to have their head examined.
For those who are fearful that our ties to Israel are not firm enough, are you really saying we need to strengthen our relationship because they are the only other "allied" country who will defend by launching a nuclear weapon?
Defense policy must follow economic policy. Nice response from Huntsman! I am tried of the Chinese ignoring defense and pursuing capitalism at our expense.
Ron Paul is your best candidate – BY FAR! I may even vote for him! This debate has proven that the Republican Party is not a conservative party, but just another party (in goose step with the Democratic Party) that seeks to erode American individual rights and liberties. This, while also consolidating power in the Executive Branch of Government. Please just don't watch it happen, get active! Our enemies have won if we give up our values in this country. A large Thank You and many prayers for a safe return, to all of our troops overseas!
The Republican Presidential seems to be un educated about Africa! Is Africa a country or a continent?
You borrow from China and Send AID to where in Africa?
Economics: US Companies employ 5.5.million abroad in Europe, Asia and South America, according to the WSJ they added 2.9 million employees abroad between 1999 and 2009. What would you do to trun this trend around in 2013?
I think The US has more than enough problems in their own backyard, primarily economic, yet it spends billions in foreign aid and in re-building even countries that are breeding grounds or home bases of terrorists while ignoring the financial and health issues of its own people. So much worry about the poor in other countries but can't even address or eradicate the homeless and jobless issues of its own citizens. When will the US ever stop putting its finger in everybody's pie and learn to mind its own business? Shouldn't Charity begin at home first?
To all: With the blight and errosion of our cities and infrastructure i.e south west PA. and Detroit how do you justify spending billions in the middle east.
I believe that Ron Paul is the only Candidate That Cares about Our Country. Ron Paul is Veteran and a Medical Doctor . The rest will not get my vote. P.S. What is Newt Gingrich doing up there. Didn't Newt have some ethical issues involving a non'profit back in 1994? Newt is pushing the Fear Buttons and that is primitive. Bottom line on defense is if we mind our own business we save money. If other countries have issues they can ask us to provide paid advise on how to achieve success from our point of view which they must pay for. Now with that said we need to address all the systemic waste, fraud, abuse and corruption that is so common in our government today. We should ask for a day of National Shame on our Politicians.
Perry just said "Super Failure"... and he couldn't name his 3rd department he would cut out of the Fed Government... Perry is that a SUPER FAILURE also?
