(CNN) - While speaking about his jobs plan in Manchester, New Hampshire on Tuesday, President Barack Obama was interrupted by a group of Occupy Wall Street protesters.
"I appreciate you guys making your point," Obama said. "Let me go ahead and make mine."
Obama is the latest presidential candidate whose speech was disrupted by the demonstrators. Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Texas Rep. Ron Paul have each heard from "Occupy" activists at campaign events in recent weeks.
I like the way Obama is so cool, and gets right to the point! He has my vote along with millions! Yep 4 more years!
He is trying his best! If congress would just stop trying to stone wall every issue and plan!
latinos for obama four more years
GOP! Stop the lies! The Rich pay no taxes! The loop holes makes that possible!
He is poised and ready...he has my vote!
Stop Secure Communities and end deporting non-criminal immigrants! You lied to us in 2008! We will continue to hold you accountable as you asked us to.
It is OK for Occupy to protest where President Obama speaks. We need to get the attention of those in gov't. But Obama gets my vote.
Obama acknowledged the Occupy protest movement again, saying: “You are the reason I ran for office.”
And with that quote... HE'S FINISHED! Zero chance he get's reelected after that one!
Glad everyone's voice is getting heard. Obama knows the plight of the middle class and will fight for our benefit, but that doesn't mean it's going to be easy or quick.
'The Brown Shirts' are rising
Candidate Obama boasted in 2008 he had a great ABILITY working across the aisle to get votes. Now it turns out that ABILITY did not exist; the proof is in the debt ceiling debacle. That was also why he did not even get involved in the super committee since 2 strike out in a row does not look very good for the president. Alas, who needs that ability anyway? When all else fails, just play the blame game.
This president makes life altering decisions... Daily!!! He tries to be president to all americans. Yes even those who hate him. A few protesting ,wanting to be heard!! That's American and cake compared to sending soldiers to get Osama bin laden. Telling families their loved ones won't be coming home. I can't see Mitt, Newt or anyone else having this man's sincerity!! Vote Obama!
It's time somebody other than the Tea Party spoke up for themselves. They need to hold all politicians accountable – not just the Republicans. Having said that... President Obama has served as the spokesperson for most of the people associated with the "Occupy" movement. He has been the advocate for the poor and middle class. He has fought against the slimey business practices of Wall Street and worked tirelessly to get the Republican lap-dogs for the rich to do something beyond defending the wealthy and obstructing progress. The "Occupy" folks need to speak up – but appreciate the fact that their friends are all in the Democratic Party.
The Republicans don't have a chance.
Obama is just way smarter, likeable, and intelligent than all of the Republican candidates. The only people who are his intellectual matches are Ron Paul and John Huntsman.
These were not Occupy protesters.
They were planted troublemakers along the lines of James O'Keefe.
.
where was the Occupy movement when we needed them most? Didn't see them protesting their demands with the Supercommittee. they missed a real opportunity to make a difference. then again, they are directed by the Democrats so it is understandable.
He needs to listen to the voices of the Occupiers. You can drown them out this time, but they'll be back. We'll be louder next time.
He reads off the teleprompter better than any other socialist ever !!!
the republican candidates except ron paul and john huntsman are a bunch of clowns
everyone needs to go online and sign the term limits petition...termlimits.org it is time we take back this country and kick these bums out
@ tax the left ....... Why ?
Obama/Biden in 2012. Nobody else can lead this country like he will. If, IF, iF the dadgum repukes would meet him half-way, many of us would prosper more in this country. They need to be voted OUT.
Finally they OWS'ers are figuring out who in government has been throwing all of our money at the banks and large corporations and not doing anyone on the bottom rungs a damn bit of good. Oh, that is unless you consider extending unemployment benefits to 99 weeks a favor. A real favor would have been supporting businesses with an effective government so that they could hire again and grow the economy.
I was very proud of those protesters who actully had the balls to stand up to that fashiest pig Obama. IT'S ABOUT TIME AMERICA KEEP IT UP!!! Amercia will not survive another 4 years of his reign so if you really to end up like Iran or saudi arabia or africa then vote for him.
obama is USA's biggest mistake ever.
