Women for Cain' launched by campaign
(CNN) – While Herman Cain has yet to decide if he will continue his presidential campaign following an allegation he engaged in a 13-year extramarital affair, his campaign is pressing on with efforts to promote his candidacy.
Team Cain officially launched a "Women for Cain" website Friday billed as an "online national fellowship of women dedicated to helping elect Herman Cain as the next President of the United States."
The site says the former pizza executive is a strong advocate for women and is complete with testimonials from over 30 women. It also names Cain's wife of 43 years, Gloria, as the national chairperson.
Most of the comments encourage Cain to remain in the race, with some criticizing the women who have lobbed accusations at the former radio talk show host. Other messages ask him to ignore the media.
"I hope you pursue a slander, libel, defamation of character suit against this moneygrubbing, lying woman. Granted, she has no $, but it would send a strong message," a comment reads on the homepage.
One post calls the women "money hungry" that "make me sick to my stomach."
Another says "PLEASE DO NOT PULL OUT OF THE RACE," adding that she is "encouraging everyone to ignore the media, GOP establishment, (elitists, statists) and the Obama administration to do the right thing for our country … Remember Clarence Thomas and hang in there."
Dr. Alveda King, a Cain supporter and lead voice behind the drive, said the site is the culmination of months of work intended to connect "people of like hearts and minds that are praying for Mr. and Mrs. Cain."
"I would be very blessed if Mr. Cain decides to stay in the race," King, the niece of the late Martin Luther King, Jr. and daughter of the late civil rights activist Re. A.D. William King, Sr., told CNN.
Cain has spent recent weeks rebuffing accusations of sexual harassment and most recently claims of an affair from Ginger White, an Atlanta businesswoman.
He is currently "reassessing" his 2012 plans and in an email to supporters Friday asked them to show their support for his candidacy.
"As I assess the future of my campaign, I need to gauge the support of the people of this great nation," Cain wrote. "In today's political environment, the only way we can gauge true support is by the willingness of our supporters to invest in this effort."

As Rachel Maddow has already pointed out, the picture is a stock pic that you pay for. His campaign can't even find real women supporters to put on the site. Of course, I guess most women in Cain's life are accustomed to being paid.

This is a matter of Mrs. Cain having her head in a hole and not seeing anything around her which would hurt her. Mrs. Cain aren't there enough "Women for Cain" already? Mrs. Cain your husband has suggest that more women may come forward and admit a possible relationship with him. For 43 years, Mrs. Cain you have been a good supportive wife while Mr. Cain has succesfully held a 13 year relationship and been accused of harassment towards several women, who were all white women. Please the only thing Mr. Cain would be able to tell and/or show me is to the nearest lawyer and bank.
These are the same kind of women that become pen pals with convicts that are convicted to life imprisonment , fall in love with them and then eventually marry them.

How many women can Mr. Cain support with monthly checks? Or did he promised them government jobs?

The fact remains, it's not his personal 'adventures' with women he gropes or "supports", it's Herman's lack of political understanding, nationally and internationally, that make him a sideshow in this GOP race. He thinks and acts like a bully CEO who is used to getting his way. Fortunately for the country, unfortunate for Cain, that's not how politics works. Herman is not a concensus builder or able to compromise or see the nuances of the many complex issues we are facing. We wish you a quiet retirement, Herman, enjoy your money. Please leave... Now!

This may be the number one short-lived website in all politics. Just how much money are the Koch brothers spending on this election, anyway? The dude tells the press he's meeting with his WIFE for god's sake. If you have to announce publicly that you're going to have a heart-to-heart talk with your wife then I think the re-assessment came back negative.
