Women for Cain' launched by campaign
(CNN) – While Herman Cain has yet to decide if he will continue his presidential campaign following an allegation he engaged in a 13-year extramarital affair, his campaign is pressing on with efforts to promote his candidacy.
Team Cain officially launched a "Women for Cain" website Friday billed as an "online national fellowship of women dedicated to helping elect Herman Cain as the next President of the United States."
The site says the former pizza executive is a strong advocate for women and is complete with testimonials from over 30 women. It also names Cain's wife of 43 years, Gloria, as the national chairperson.
Most of the comments encourage Cain to remain in the race, with some criticizing the women who have lobbed accusations at the former radio talk show host. Other messages ask him to ignore the media.
"I hope you pursue a slander, libel, defamation of character suit against this moneygrubbing, lying woman. Granted, she has no $, but it would send a strong message," a comment reads on the homepage.
One post calls the women "money hungry" that "make me sick to my stomach."
Another says "PLEASE DO NOT PULL OUT OF THE RACE," adding that she is "encouraging everyone to ignore the media, GOP establishment, (elitists, statists) and the Obama administration to do the right thing for our country … Remember Clarence Thomas and hang in there."
Dr. Alveda King, a Cain supporter and lead voice behind the drive, said the site is the culmination of months of work intended to connect "people of like hearts and minds that are praying for Mr. and Mrs. Cain."
"I would be very blessed if Mr. Cain decides to stay in the race," King, the niece of the late Martin Luther King, Jr. and daughter of the late civil rights activist Re. A.D. William King, Sr., told CNN.
Cain has spent recent weeks rebuffing accusations of sexual harassment and most recently claims of an affair from Ginger White, an Atlanta businesswoman.
He is currently "reassessing" his 2012 plans and in an email to supporters Friday asked them to show their support for his candidacy.
"As I assess the future of my campaign, I need to gauge the support of the people of this great nation," Cain wrote. "In today's political environment, the only way we can gauge true support is by the willingness of our supporters to invest in this effort."

Well, to be honest, any celebrity type should be able to find 30 women that would support him. Look at how many women supported Charles Manson. If 30 is all he can get, then he has no chance at the Republican nomination.
Which is exactly what I have been saying ever since Cain said blacks are brainwashed, Muslims would not be permitted in his cabinet, and Obama was not a natural born citizen. It took a while, but it seems the rest of America finally realized what many of us have been saying for a while: this fool has no business running for POTUS.
By the way, I would give quite a bit to be able to see all the responses that were sent to that site. I would be willing to bet that anti-Cain responses outnumbered pro-Cain responses about 100 to 1.
This add has to be the most bogus thing I have seen in very bogus politics.

Being an adulterer or being a promiscuous individual doesn't necessarily disqualify a person from being a good or great leader. However, with the Christ like standards we set here in America, when we elect or appoint senior government officials, he hasn't got a snowball's chance in hell of being the nominee. I peersoally could care less what a good leader does in the bedroom. However, the man is in denial and is lying for selfish self serving reasons. Aside from the moral issues following Mr. Cain, he definitely has shown to me a complete lack of understanding of foreign and domestic issues that an American President must have.
Just because someone accuses someone of something it does not make the accusations true. Even if what these people are saying turns out to be true it's nothing compared to what President Clinton did while IN OFFICE. He seemed to still be able to get the job done.

Now we finally see real reality TV, thanks to Herman. The man believes what he says and puts out online. He really does. Delusional , too strong a word? It's like a comedy of sorts, the main character gets himself deeper into doodoo the moment he opens his mouth. Audience laughs, all in good humor, we know it's just a play.

It's hard to pursue a lawsuit when the statement is true... keep that in mind when no suit comes to pass.
What will these women say if it comes out that these allegations are TRUE? Do you think they'll take back all the hateful things they've said about Cain's accusers?

Nice to see women standing strong for Herman, when the mainstream media depicts "all women" as defecting over "the truth" coming out.
At this point, we don't know what the truth is. Evaluation of the actual evidence raises reasonable questions about the credibility of the accusations. Provided you evaluate without the bias of "with this many women (3) it must be true" or you didn't want him anyway so evaluations of evidence would be half-hearted at best.
