Dan Quayle to back Romney
(CNN) - Dan Quayle will throw his support behind GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney on Tuesday, CNN has confirmed.
The former Republican vice president, who served with former President George H.W. Bush, will make the announcement alongside Romney at an event in suburban Phoenix.
The endorsement comes a week after Romney met with Bush and his wife Barbara at their Houston-area home.
Quayle's son, Ben, is a congressman representing Arizona.

Well then, I guess Romney's got a lock on the nomination now.
A good way to drive elected republicans crazy is to buy only American made products this Christmas. That should really anger the foreign corporations that bribe the GOP.
Compared to George W. Bush, Dan Quayle is a genius. He was one of the worst VPs though.
Don't worry about Quale endorsing Romney. He just can't spell Gengrich or Bachman

Quayle was on the receiving end of the best debate zinger of all time when he compared himself to Jack Kennedy.
Quoting Senator Bentsen loosely: "I knew Jack Kennedy. Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine. Senator, you're no Jack Kennedy."

You have got to to be kidding!! Romney needs Quayle's endorsement like he needs a hole in his head!! Dan Quayle is an idiot whose endorsement is of no substantial value and is in fact, a kiss of death to Romney's campaign or anyone's else's campaign for that matter.

One more from the Bush Dynasty to back Romney. A vote for Romney is a return to Bush policies.
I am not so sure I would want that endorsement.
