BLITZER’S BLOG: Ron Paul could surprise us
(CNN) – Three weeks to the Iowa caucuses and anything is still possible, including an upset win by Congressman Ron Paul.
As you know, he has lots of devoted supporters. He has an excellent organization in Iowa. He could surprise a lot of people and actually win the caucuses – to the dismay of Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney.

Ron Paul is he most peace loving, honest person in the race. There is nothing scary he will come out with, he wants a transition to less government without doing harm to anyone.
Now Gingrich or another 4 years of Obama scare me.
I wouldn't be surprised if he won the primary, I hope he wins the Nomination.. I would pay very good money to see Ron debate Obama, Obama would lose in a heartbeat and look like a fool in the process... Once more People know about Ron , he'll be unstoppable, and then this country can get back on track and prosper once more.
Ron Paul's Americas last hope! Time to put an end to big and intrusive government. Freedom is always better than an intrusive Government. Balance The Government budget, lower spending and boost national security. It's about time we stop fooling ourselves and voting for the same old presidents every year which as we can see has been running our country downhill. Let's restore America now. Vote Ron Paul if you want some real positive change for once.

Yes! Best candidate in the rebublican field. As Dr. Paul stated in a debate a short time ago – candidates should be required to wear jump suits similiar to nascar drivers so we can identify their sponsors easily. Remove influence from Washington! Go Ron Go!
The Polls do not count Democrats and Independents who are crossing over to vote for Ron Paul. Ron Paul may very well surprise everyone, and even startle the rest of the Country awake. He is the man with the youngest idea around: LIBERTY!
my god, theres so many naive comments on ron paul, it's a shame really how blind people have become, they run into conclusions without doing their own research...
I read the other day that 70 percent of the people in the United States believe the country is headed in the wrong direction. Yet, people still vote for the same candidates again and again. Isn't it time to start thinking out of the box? I believe it was a couple of radicals that wanted to free themselves from British rule. These people were probably called fools or nuts at the time. I don't really understand how someone can simply disregard Ron Paul's message of freedom and personal responsibility. People are so tired of unending wars, but still vote for the people that perpetuate conflict. Why? Why? Why?
Ron Paul is the only one that sees where this county is headed , but because this country consist of nothing , but morons like most on here he wont get in ! You want more of what we have been getting vote for someone else while you still have that right ! Just look up bill 1867 !
