Gingrich says millions of illegal immigrants should leave

Washington (CNN) - Newt Gingrich insisted Sunday that some illegal immigrants who have become full community members should be able to stay in the country, but he added that his policy would require 7 million or more to go back to their home nations before having a chance to return.

Appearing on the CBS program "Face the Nation," the front-running Republican presidential hopeful repeated his call for some kind of citizen review board to assess whether illegal immigrants would be eligible to get a residency permit and stay in America.

Good work, boys. Keep the microphones and cameras in his face. He's about to pop of a good one. The facts are that conservatives love the cheap, union busting labor that immigrants, legal or otherwise, provide. It has been conservatives that have relaxed the laws and law enforcement that have encouraged people to come into this country. Do not forget the right wing support that Bush had for his "guest worker" program. Immigrants were a good thing until Republicans realized that illegals were consuming taxpayer benefits.

That's not what he said a couple of weeks ago. Oh my gosh – a flip flop from the GOP – what a shocker that is.

I am absolutely amazed that any Mexican/Latino would vote for a Republican, with all of the disdain the GOP has shown to their culture, beliefs, and attitudes.

They have come to America to have a better life. In doing so, that better life involves honoring this country. Learn and speak our language–English. Stop the drug and liquor use. Get a drivers license. -f you cannot find a job, then return to Mexico. Many have brought disease TB for one. Unable to work, you have turned to our government to support your health needs, educating your children and costing taxpayer dollars when you are arrested doe crimes. Please know you are welcome but only on a visa, work permit.

I agree with what newt says , but what will he do once businesses complain about losing their CHEAP labor . I know , i know , they only do work Americans won't do . But the truth is there are a lot of construction workers who are unemployed and can't make ends meet on the new wages dictated be ILLEGAL workers . Also , when i was a teenager we worked at mc donalds etc. for school money etc. Now adult ILLEGALS do that work too . Will Americans not do it ? Or is it just not available to them anymore ? ( i live in So. Cal. It may be different elsewhere )

I, for one am not a fan if ILLEGAL ALIENS. Defenders say as long as they aren't violating any laws, just leave them alone... Well, it seems to me that if they are here ILLEGALLY, well, aren't they violating at least one law...Send them all home and let them come in through the front door............

Is this man serious? Who would even qualify to be on these panels and would people even want to serve on something so subjective?
