(CNN) - Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul, who's polling just behind frontrunners Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich, said Tuesday he was "surprised" at his campaign's recent surge to the top tier.
"I am surprised at how well I have done over this past year because I believe that some of the positions I've held were taking on the establishment at its very roots," Paul said on CNN's "John King, U.S.A." "But to me it's very encouraging that the county is changing. They're sick and tired of Washington."

One thing for sure about Paul is the fact that he is rising on "consistency." There is no reason why he will fall; everyone knows him so there are NO gotchas, except for those that will come from the other candidates and Paul Ryan's supporters are not having it!!!
Too bad, though, he will NEVER win in the General Election!!!
Obama 2012!!
Give it up. You can't win.
