NRSC adds nearly $3 million to war chest

(CNN) – The National Republican Senatorial Committee raised almost $3 million in November, according to the group in charge of electing Republicans to the Senate.

The monthly total of $2.9 million leaves them with $9.1 million cash on hand, having raised $36.9 million during the current election cycle. They head into the 2012 elections with no debt.

"These fundraising numbers speak to the tremendous enthusiasm we're seeing from the Republican grassroots and independent voters across the country who recognize that if they want to put an end to the reckless spending and restore pro-jobs policies in Washington, you start with a new Senate Republican majority," NRSC Communications Director Brian Walsh said in a statement.

Only 3 million? You would think their supporters, the 1%, could do better than that. They own 90% of the money 3 million is a drop in the bucket. On the other hand most of them are probably busy hidding their money overseas during the tax season...

Thank God they want to put an end to the reckless spending!! Does this mean that Republican Donors will pay for the two wars they started and REFUSED to pay for, will undo the Bush tax cuts that they REFUSED to pay for, the Medicare Prescription Drug payoff to their big pharma donors that they REFUSED to pay for?? Thank God they've seen the errors of their irresponsible ways and they will pay for all this stuff they did and not use the soaring debt they created as an excuse to get rid of Social Security and Medicare that they've been trying to do for 50+ years!

Yeah, then tell us how much was actually from "grassroots and independent voters", as opposed to the banks and corporations that you are in bed with.

  9. The Greedy Old PIgs have declared class war on US!

The hidden elites will end up pouring billions into the 2012 elections. Using the Karl Rove playbook, they will also spread tremendous amounts of fear, lies, hate and propaganda. And electronic voting machines everywhere will be subject to hacks using techniques the Greedy Old Pigs have been perfecting since 2004.
