
Washington (CNNMoney) - A top White House economic adviser said that congressional deadlock on extending payroll tax cuts and unemployment insurance benefits threatens the U.S. economy, in excerpts of prepared remarks released Wednesday.
Alan Krueger, the chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers stresses the economic importance of keeping the 2% payroll tax cut and emergency unemployment benefits to more than 160 million American workers.

Thanks to people being out of work so long that they gave up looking for work and therefore are not considered part of the workforce. Surely a WONDERFUL Obama accomplishment!! Another term of Obama failure and EVERYBODY will stop looking for work and then unemployment will be 0%!! It sure looks like that is Obama's plan.
