Obama signs defense bill 'with reservations'

(CNN) - President Barack Obama on Saturday reluctantly signed a defense authorization bill, saying he was concerned about some in Congress who want to restrict options used by counterterrorism officials.

"I have signed this bill despite having serious reservations with certain provisions that regulate the detention, interrogation, and prosecution of suspected terrorists," he said of the $662 billion legislation.

    3 words. Line Item Veto. Then maybe some legislation will get passed without all the add ons that add more expense, which by the way the republicans say they are against. I guess they're only against it if it doesn't benefit them.

    Political posturing again! Obama's "so-called reluctant signature" is only mentioned to not irritate his left-wing base! The REALITY is that this President has NEVER seen a SPENDING bill he didn't love!
