Bachmann looks ahead to South Carolina

Des Moines, Iowa (CNN) - With her children and husband in tow, Michele Bachmann continued to hit an optimistic tone hours ahead of Tuesday's Iowa caucuses during an appearance on CNN's "Starting Point."

The congresswoman from neighboring Minnesota said she expects to "do just fine" in the first-in-the-nation caucus state and said she is already focused on South Carolina, the third state to vote on the road to the White House.

"We've already bought tickets to South Carolina," Bachmann told CNN's Soledad O'Brien.

I haven't seen a person so deluded since Failin-Palin. When will this farce end?

She should go and stay out of Minn. and Washington. She will be better received and cause less damage.

Why does she not face reality and just move back to Minnesota. She does not have a chance in hell of ever being nominated to run for president.. What a complete waste of money. Also wondering if she plans on giving the taxpayers back her salary since she is not doing the job she was elected to do and is so concerned about goevernment waste.

A seventh place finish when only six are viable is a good reason to go back to the snow and cold of Minnesota. Michele has taken her only issue, 'repeal of Obamacare' about as far as possible. I am sure that 50 million uninsured people want her to go home.

What a waste of time and money she has been.

She's like Palin, she'll go on Fox and make the big bucks promoting the republican hate and fear and lying all over the place for $$. What a waste.

This is just downright embarrassing for her at this point.

Bachmann, you are IRRELEVANT. Move on – as in go HOME!

If there is any good news in this woman's candidacy, it has exposed her as an absloute quack, who can not get a single issue right and is a horribly misinformed political hack. Hopefully, the voters in the MN. 6th will see what an ineffective legislator she has been, i.e. not one piece of legislation introcduced by the womas has ever become law. Goodbye Michelle.

Hope she doesn't stay more than a day. Between Trikki Nikki and her cohorts we have enough problems in SC. The only good news for our state in months was hearing Demented Demint will not seek reelection.

Tickets to South Carolina? If were her, I would try to spend more time in New Hampshire right about now.

Why is Ms. Bachmann so mean to her kids and drag them into public? How will they ever explain when their grown up that they are not at all like their mother (disillusioned, living of the Government, not facts orientated, lying and baring false witness against others…)?
