Paul unfazed ahead of high stakes presidential debate

Concord, New Hampshire (CNN) – Just hours before a high stakes Republican presidential debate, is Ron Paul feeling any pressure?

“Oh, nothing special,” the candidate told reporters Saturday morning when asked if he had any special feelings about the debate.

Santorum: Obama's education stance is 'snobbery'

Manchester, New Hampshire (CNN) - Rick Santorum called President Barack Obama's education goals an agenda of "hubris" on Saturday, saying he is "outraged" that the president thinks "every child in America should go to college."

"The hubris of this president to think that he knows what's best for you [...] This is the kind of snobbery that we see from those that think they know how to run our lives," the former Pennsylvania senator said in a forum at St. Anselm's New Hampshire Institute of Politics.

In weekly addresses, Obama and GOP speak to job creation

(CNN) - The new year means new jobs, Democrats and Republicans say.

In their first weekly addresses of 2012, Republicans argued that Senate Democrats are holding up their job growth efforts, and President Barack Obama said progress is being made.

Romney emerges unscathed in contentious GOP debate

Manchester, New Hampshire (CNN) - It didn't take long for fireworks to erupt at Saturday night's Republican presidential debate.

But while most of six candidates on the stage at Saint Anselm College traded barbs, Mitt Romney didn't field much incoming fire from his rivals, and didn't apparently do any damage to his front-runner status in the race for the GOP nomination.
