BREAKING: White House chief of staff stepping down
Washington (CNN) - President Barack Obama announced Monday that White House Chief of Staff Bill Daley is stepping down and will be replaced by Office of Management and Budget Director Jack Lew.
Two senior Obama aides told CNN that Daley will stay in his job through January, including the State of the Union address.

To all of you who are trying to spin this into an anti-Obama event, good luck with that ! My understanding is that Mr. Daley was never expected to hold the COS post for long, and I'm not surprised that he would want to take a breather and spend time with his family. I'm sure he will be a major player in President Obama's re-election campaign.
Haha! Jack Lew couldn't have had much to do as the budget director considering that Obama's White House has never provided one.

Ronald Reagan didn't pass a budget during his entire administration. It was one CR after another, most of which lasted an average of 60-90 days. Naturally, each one was accompanied by a debt ceiling increase.

O'Barry brought this guy in because he though he could get some support from business and found he won't. Business is lining up with Romney (or anyone who runs) they know who obama is now...fool me once shame on me, fool me twice...you get the picture. Another four years of obummer and American business will ALL be overseas. We won't have a viable military...and there certainly won't be any jobs or HOPE!
This is great, yet another Chief of Staff getting away from Obama, that's two Chief of Staff. Now many others have quit with the excuse of seeking to go into a private business or going to teach at some school or just needing a vacation. I've not seen this many people in such a hurry to get away from anyone President. Guess that this President is not what everyone was thinking he was going to be.
