Washington (CNN) - A day after the GOP's New Hampshire primary, President Obama focuses on his re-election campaign, returning to his hometown Chicago to raise some hefty campaign cash. But pundits will be watching closely to see if he directly takes on Republican GOP front-runner Mitt Romney when the president speaks at a campaign event Wednesday evening.
Tuesday evening, as Romney celebrated his New Hampshire victory by attacking the president, Vice President Joe Biden unleashed the Obama camp's harshest attack yet on Romney, saying, "He thinks it's more important for the stockholders and the shareholders and the investors and the venture capital guys to do well for those employees to be part of the bargain."

Yeah, I'm sure the corrupt union bosses willl load up their bought and paid for President quite nicely. Pay back for all of his union appointments to the NLRB and stealing GM to give to the unions. Yes, corruption is alive and well in Chicago and DC!
Mr. President, all you have to do is purchase the ads the Perry & Huntsman campaigns have up against Willard. I particularly like the one from the Perry Camp: "I like to be able to fire people." A matter of fact, I think Perry has the best line of attack on Wllard. He called him a "vulture capitalist." I prefer just to call him a predator.
He spends hefy dollars whether it is on vactions in exotic places or giving out hard earned money to the drug addicts and welfare frauds thos worship him. His big accomplishments, killing a terrorist and bankrupting social security to give a tax break to so he can win reelection, apologizing to the world for this countrys success and leaving Iraq with no oil (notice the price rise) What an absolute farce. His impeachment cannot come soon enough.
count on me too....buddy. Stand for American-Middle-Class. GOP and its rich buddies ruin us....enough of this shipping jobs overseas, for cheap labor....Obama2012.
Mittens is getting 95% of the press right now. He has never won so many races in his lifetime as the one in Iowa, and the one in NH. The Kochs and Rove will provide their hand picked limp wristed flip-flopper almost a billion dollars, but when Mittens loses, it was wasted money on a worthless candidate.
It appears that the corporate raiders are putting all their money on Mittens, the candidate who will truly sell them his soul. After all, what good is money if everyone thinks you are a spineless flip flopping appeaser? Mittens is trying so hard to be something other than an elitist representing the upper .00001% of wealthy Americans.
Gee – I wonder if he's going to be "discussing pending legislation with "The People", thereby technically not making this a campaign event? Yeah, Rudy – that's directed at you...
Diridi: so it does not count that GE after receiving bailout money shipped jobs to China, Jeff Immelt who was appointed to create jobs here in the US was head of GE.
"He spends hefy dollars whether it is on vactions in exotic places"
His most recent "vaction" (sic) was in the US state of Hawaii. Try a more reality-based talking point next time, instead of just spreading the propaganda manure you get on Fakes News.
@Truth & Wired, spot on as usual. It is amazing to me how many people can be in the tank for Obama. Knowing that he completely disregards the constitution whenever he feels like it should not apply to him. Amazing how they spin the damage he has done to this country and things that were carried over from the previous administration, into his accomplishments!!???!! I'm not a huge Romney fan, but anybody would do a better job,,,,,,,even Hillary.

GM was faltering because none of the major banks would loan them capital for day to day operations. Republicans had stood back and said let GM and Chrysler both of them go under and file for bankruptcy. While GM did receive taxpayer provided loans and eventually filed for bankruptcy, the major difference between what Democrats and Republicans wanted to do is with how the bankruptcies unfolded and what GM would have had to do to make ends meet for day to day operations. Without the loans, GM would have had to sell of pieces of itself, bit by bit, at fire sale prices until there was little or nothing left.
What? President Obama was on a 10 day vacation in Hawaii (where some of his family lives)? Shame. Guess Boehner and baggers on one month vacation in South America is ok. You know - tax paid vacation for LOTS of them instead of back here working for us. But hey, they WILL work one day in January.

You are referring to funds distributed under TARP in 2008 and 2009. In addition to Wall Street banks, GE, Verizon, Caterpillar, Duetsche Bank, Toyota, and many other companies recieved "loans". Some moved jobs overseas or were based entirely overseas, but had significant financial interests in the US.
You are trying to suggest that the Obama administration distributed the funds as part of some sort of failed Stimulus. No. those funds were already spent and earmarked by the Congress when the passed the TARP legislation as part of the 2008-2009 budget, which was signed into law by George W. Bush. Not all of TARP was spent by the time Obama was sworn in, and there was nothing that could be done to stop the TARP spending or to add accountability. TARP was executed exactly as Bush had signed it into law.
"knowing that he completely disregards the constitution whever he feels like it should not apply to him."
Wow, with please share these top secret facts with us. Oh wait, you don't have any, do you? Because if there were any real facts in support of your ridiculous claim, you know your GOBP deathcult would have impeachment proceedings already scheduled.
OBAMA/BIDEN 2012.....the only way to move forward!!! This GOP crowd is beyond the pale.....is it really the best the GOP can do? Romney will never understand the working class! An it is beyond belief that working class folk really think he has their best interest!! Don't fall for the oky-doke and the scare tactics unless you're the non-working class!
Sounds like a lot of folk are FOX NEWS/HANNITY/RUSH BELIEIVERS/JUNKIES! Well, that crew is just like Romney, wealthy at your expense! And this isn't class warfare or envy.....its all about exploitation of working class people and kicking them to the curb when the profits are down. GREED is dangerous....not Pres. Obama's administration!!!
again OBAMA/BIDEN 2012

He's not speaking at an open public event. It is techinically a fundraiser in every sense of the word, speaking before a private audience of campaign donors. If you don't like the priviliges of office, then you should change the laws if your champion wins. But, since we know that is not going to happen, I will suggest that you grit your teeth and bear it. There's nothing that you can do about it except whine.
These republican on here are full of it when Bush went on vacation every month it was ok. But when president Obama go on vacation it a problem with the republican. I hope Obama win by a landslide then yall republican can move to another country.
