New York (CNNMoney) - Republicans attacking Mitt Romney's tenure at Bain Capital got a stern rebuke Thursday from the Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber president Tom Donohue said the attacks on the Republican frontrunner are "foolish" during the group's "State of American Business 2012" event in Washington.

"Chamber to Gingrich, Perry: Shut it"
Translation: "We're an arm of the Republican party."
He's a republican flunky, everyone knows that and should be fired by dip romney who loves to fire people, then he should fire himself. Time to get rid of the republican clowns!!!
Mittens is the chosen one, and you better not get in the way of the Kochs, Rove, and the other unnamed billionaires who have bought and paid for Mittens.
Geesh !! I guess the candidate's should just all go home? Where was the Chamber in Iowa when Romney's super pact thugs released their vicious attacks on Newt!
Several right wingnuts have been throwing out a lot of crap today, and it only seems to sticking to them.
When big money chose Mittens, they must have thought that everyone would go home.
Newt and Rick are just pawns in the game remember a person is good enought to bash Obama but these two are not good enought to be POTUS. Whay that seys about these Party. See Herman Cain had to find out the hard he was used to bash Obama but when he was talking about being Prez somerone came and cut him down and let him know you have gone to far.
Chamber of Commerce = Republican toadys.
Mitt is the one with strings attached to wall street, they pull those strings, so leave him alone. Paid for by the unbiased Republican Chamber of Commerce of the United States of Republican Corporations.
Wow. Republicans don't have a fall out, they fall in line.
If superPACs are behind these ads, then why is this rhetoric directed specifically at the candidates?
The most elite of elite of the Republican Party have spoken. Pass the popcorn.
Chamber of Commerce. Must stay out of this
Newt Gingrich and Rick Perry attacking their opponent that is it
@Namejkane - What's the matter? Afraid you'll have to start working for a living once the GOP regains control?
the fun just start,,,,,,,,,,,,,lol
Well by gosh, the Chamber has spoken. You two better get in line like good little Stepford wives.
Guess those "anybody but Romney" evangelicals can cancel their meeting tomorrow in Texas.
Translation: Stop telling the truth!!!
Do you want a peasant uprising ?
Chamber doesn't want its puppet show ruined.
might as well close the barn door since the horse is already out. I thought when Boss Limbaugh got after Rick Perry for his "vulture" comment htat would have been enough...but the big guys that helped fund the 2010 election have spoken. Antoehr reason the SCOTUS ruling is awful and we need big money OUT of politics on BOTH sides.
Hey Susan, actually we 99%ers do most of the work, start most of the small busimesses. You 1%ers kick back on your Daddy's earnings and produce NO benefit to this country. And we'll do our work no matter whose elected, unlike you crybabies.
What's the matter, are YOU afraid that your panties will bunch-up so far that your nose will start bleeding, after Obama's win in Nov.?
Doesn't appear that YOUR Chamber of Horors is for free speech. Maybe they should get all [R]s to sign a loyalty oath to Romney and his favorite person: Big Business. No need for free speech, primaries and the like in the [R] fairytale world.

I never understood how the Chamber of Commerce was allowed to show such blatant partisanship towards Republicans, but I recall very early in President Obama's 1st term (yeah I said 1st term!)them openly supporting only Republican candidates.
The Chamber of Commerce is just an extension of the GOP's masters, Big Business, and as such they probably had a hand in formulating "The Memo" that decreed all hands off Mittens.
We're gonna need a whole lot of popcorn for this one my friend.
