
Washington (CNN) - Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Sunday he will release his income tax return this week and he reiterated his challenge for Republican front-runner Mitt Romney to do the same.
Gingrich's comment on the NBC program "Meet the Press" continued his campaign to get Romney to disclose details of his personal wealth.
FULL STORY(CNN) – David Axelrod said Mitt Romney's assertion that he would run against the Obama administration's bailout of the auto industry in the general election represents the different visions for America held by the Republican frontrunner and President Barack Obama.
In an interview broadcast Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union," Axelrod, a senior adviser to the president's re-election effort, defended the auto bailout while pointing to Romney's record as CEO of Bain Capital.

(CNN) - Texas Gov. Rick Perry said Sunday that Marines videotaped urinating on dead Taliban fighters in Afghanistan made a "dumb" mistake, but should not face criminal prosecution.
In an interview Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union," the Republican presidential candidate said the Obama administration over-reacted to the incident by talking about possible criminal charges and speaking with what he called "disdain" about the U.S. military.
