Romney bashing: Part 2 may focus on taxes

New York (CNNMoney) - Should Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney choose to release his tax returns, it likely will spur yet more debate about how much the rich should pay in taxes.

In particular, a lot of scrutiny may be given to how much tax Romney paid on the money he has made from Bain Capital, an investment firm he founded in 1984 and left in 1999.

Face it, Obama has nothing positive to campaign on so he is resorting to class warfare in a last ditch effort

Why would I even deign such a ridiculous statement with a response?
    Obama 2012. Seriously America.

He has more show for in 3 years than Republicans have to show for since 2001.

"So why didn't Obama raise these taxes when he was being granted every wish on his list in 2009 and 2010? He could get anything passed through the Democratic House and the Fillbuster-proof supermajority in the Senate."
    ----------------------------------------------------
Do you believe the 95 filibusters used by Republicans in the Senate were done within the past year? Obama has never had a filibuster-proof Senate. You might also consider the fact that the President doesn't set the tax rate – yet these proposals were included in proposals never able to even reach the vote-level in the Senate. When President Obama was handed the trashed economy, with over 8 million jobs lost before he took off and two wars Bush never even included in the budget, the Bush tax cuts were continued. Investors (the "job creators") did everything but create jobs – including to send money offshore to foreign investments. President Obama managed to turn our economy around IN SPITE OF Republican efforts to block all progress! Their political theater did manage to get the US bond rating lowered and has obstructed many attempts to help the working people get back on their feet. Your right-wing rants are straight from the hate radio play books, but as usual, they are more based on delusion and distortion than fact.

  4. The GOP opens mouth and inserts foot

Know what surprises me? The GOP have not only been engaging in class warfare for years, they've tried to decimate everyone except the rich. Yet they have the unmitigated gall and sheer audacity to say that Obama has been engaging in that? Do they think the American public is THAT stupid? Sure, there are people out there who will cast a vote based on news blurbs and sound bites, but let's face it, the GOP have proven to be the American Taliban. They are the ones trying to destroy America. The Bush regime showed the public that, but there are sheeple out there who still think that the GOP is "for" the American people. These people keep believing the GOP's lies and all America has to suffer because of their stupidity.

Gov. Romney wants the public to believe that attacking his own claims about his job creation record is an attack on captialism as a whole. The problem is that there are a whole lot of shallow minded folks out there who wil buy into his excuses to not back up his claims with actual facts.
